NordVPN is mostly known as a VPN provider but it also has a more than capable ad blocker. It helps with your privacy. It blocks trackers, which collect your information for targeted advertising. Moreover, with this feature enabled, you won’t even see intrusive or malicious ads anymore.
While it’s not an antivirus, it has features similar to it. To prevent malware, it runs deep scans on files that I download. And when I try to visit a malicious website, it warns me about it and asks me If I wanna stop or enter anyways.
However, NordVPN Threat Protection has no whitelisting feature. In theory, it is possible to whitelist a site by using Lite version in combination with split-tunneling. However, a proper, separate feature would be a welcomed addition

❓So which one is better❓
Both tools are great but for different reasons. However, Total Adblock just provides more as an ad blocker than NordVPN’s Threat Protection. It had better scan results, was able to block more ads, and had all the key features that an ad blocker should have.
