Norfolk Southern Re-Route on the CSX Trenton Sub 

In early March 2024, a collision involving three trains at Redington, near Bethlehem, PA, temporarily blocked the NS Lehigh Line in both directions. As a result, until the wreckage was cleared, NS sent their priority trains over the CSX Trenton Sub between Bound Brook, NJ and Philadelphia, where they rejoined NS rails, taking the Reading Line to reconnect with their original route.
