@@Ruebz_f30 that's DPRK ,in 80s DPRK aka the North Korea was much more beautiful than South Korea then in after a decade DDR and soviet union fell in the same decade famine struck which impact it until 2011 ,then UN put heavy sanction on them and they're still doing well in all Fields

This looks surprisingly very modern actually for a north Korean music video released in the 80s. Like you would think with the haircut rules, and the type of clothes they're allowed to wear, it wouldn't look typically 80s. It looks like something even Japan and South Korea did in the 80s.
People forget that North Korea was actually doing ok during that time…at some points it was even stronger than South Korea. It wasn’t until the famine in the 90s that the north stagnated and the south shot ahead.
Yeah,I mean after seeing many stuff about North Korea, I think it's not that bad, means yeah the labour camps are real, but the myths and stuff that are real, I thought they didnt even had tv and stuff, but here they are making a superb song, not gonna lie, better than south Korean pop songs

There seem to be different ideas about WHEN this song is from. The fashion is ca 1990 (trust me on this..). The computers likewise. However it's quite possible that North Korea is anywhere between 0 - 15 years behind the West. I'd say it was recorded at some point between 1989 and 2004... But would appreciate if anyone knows FOR SURE. At any rate - this song and video is dated now, even by North Korean standards.
