On June 11th, we boarded the Crown Princess and headed North to Alaska. After years of planning, it was finally time to embark on our journey. Join us as we explore around the ship, enjoy afternoon tea, and arrive in Juneau.

My family and I were on the exact same cruise and date. We had been on a Princess cruise to Alaska probably 10-15 years prior on the Coral Princess and had a wonderful time. Must say very disappointed this time , not with Alaska but with the ship. Very noisy in the the dining room with engine noise, the buffet dining was limited and the ship didn't seem to handle the sea very well. My wife and I just returned from a 2 week Mediterranean Cruise on the Regal Princess, what a difference. Restored my faith in Princess . Ship handled the seas really well, limited engine noise, and food options in the buffet were doubled. I also heard that now the Crown Princess might be drydocked,

ugh! I'm so sorry you had that experience! We definitely felt disappointed by the whole thing, and then getting quarantined, it was just a mess, but we absolutely want to head back to Alaska some day! I'm so glad about the Regal! We decided to use your credits for a cruise on regal this December, and we are heading to the ABC island! Here's to better trips ahead!

My wife and I did the same trip in late June/early July and we stopped in Icy Strait Point (instead of Ketchikan) and you missed absolutely nothing but skipping by ISP lol. We got lucky weather wise and it was about 75 and sunny each day.

We had hoped to see bears in ISP if we had stopped there, but we might have been too early in the season anyways. We'll definitely try again someday!

We are on the same ship/route departing 8/20. Disappointed that Ketchican cancelled, but as of this am, Icey Point is still a stop on our cruise....so far..

We've been seeing that they have almost completed the repairs and the last few weeks have been making it to Icey Point so fingers crossed for your trip!! Regardless you are going to have an amazing adventure!

Thanks for the video. We have booked the Crown for next year to Alaska. To answer your question when you said you upgraded to a mini suite because how often do you do a once in a lifetime cruise, this will be our 23rd time to Alaska our once in a lifetime trips always wind up to be multiple times.
