Wish I would've known that your camera can apparently see better than your eyes. Here in MN it was insane, but it was all white, like something in the cosmos exploded but forgot to add any color. Either way, I got to cross something off my actual bucket list.
The camera can definitely capture more of the light, but it also depends on the light pollution in the area, while it was more washed out in color, I was able to see reds and greens with my eyes where I was. It was my first time seeing them as well, and an amazing experience.
@Brendenowits made sure to longboard a few miles away from my town to get away from any light pollution, even with all of it being white, with hints of red or green, it was absolutely worth boarding miles in the middle of the night.
