Amazing footage, what a treasure for railfans and modelers alike! With the plethora of big locomotive footage out there, it's really nice to see smaller locos pulling local freight. Thanks for sharing!

I enjoyed the video and was pleasantly surprised to see a couple of Great Northern locomotives. At 8:24 is 2017 a GN class N-3 articulated 2-8-8-0 which was originally built as a N-1 Mallet in 1912, was simpled in 1924 as a N-2, and received an extensive rebuild in 1940-41 and became an N-3. The "N" class pulled a lot of iron ore for the GN in northern MN. At 10:50 is 3351 a GN class O-6 which was a 2-8-2 wheel arrangement. This class was built by GN in 1925 out of the recycled boilers and parts from the obsoleted L-1 class of 2-6-6-2 articulated Mallet locomotives that were built in 1906-08.

I am going to guess early 50’s 1950-1954. There were a few diesel switchers and some early 50’s automobiles. Many of the railroads shown were fully dieselized by 1957. I thought I saw a 52 Chevy, certainly some rare, rare views of the last days of steam.
