Drag Strip Riot are they running the 21 gpm pump?? Them header flames look awfully big for 21 gpm but the numbers tell me they are

Cool Funnycars. Back when they actually looked like cars. Today's are much faster but bodies all look the same. Just like all production cars with exception to a few.

That e.t. was eclipsed this past weekend (video to come), but those two cars are considered the Outlaw Nitro Nostalgia Funny Cars and differ from the NHRA Heritage Series NFC class rules. Mainly fuel pump size. There is a contingent of racers that currently conform to the NHRA series rules that may lobby to run that larger pump in 2018 for the another series, especially to help stave off parts attrition and put on a better show. Stay tuned.

21 gal. An increase to 30 gal. is what is being tested and proposed.

Them last two cars race with each other only, their just to fast. Probably two Magneto's... One in the 40s other in the 30s 270 mph...any suggestions ?

Thank you! All of the POV scenes were sunglass cameras by Zetronix. Could not have been more pleased with the sound or video quality from them. The throttle stuck at the hit. Mike fought to unwedge it with his foot. Pegged at 10k RPM for nearly 300'. Incredible that it didn't hurt anything. They came back and ran the 5.58 in the second round.
