This is originally a Chinese dish. However, the old Japanese took a liking to this dish and transformed it into a dish for the Japanese. As a result, this dish is often served at school lunches in Japanese elementary schools. And when adult Japanese eat it, they are reminded of their own childhood and feel nostalgic.
It is very tasty with sweet, sour, and spicy flavors, and is easy to prepare.
