Wow... I had no idea he had such a Great resume and played in so many movies... His starring role in.. Star Trek.. Will always be Mr Dilly's.. Favorite!!!! RIP Sir 🙏❤️Thank You.. Steve. 👍
Thanks for your videos. It is tragic how many stars die young as a result of smoking and drinking. Audiences tend to glamorize actors. Some actors smoke to keep their weight down. Drinking too seems to be an occupational hazard. We see them on the screen and they never seem to age. In reality, some of them are frail and just as mortal as the rest of us. I suppose I’ve just summarized the theme of your channel. Thanks for sharing these memories.
I'm 58, so this does give me a little pause. His appearance on Star Trek is a favorite. There are a couple celebs that come to mind that people can confuse. Look at Will Ferrell and Chad Smith. Those guys could be brothers.
I don't want to give my last name away, but I'm obviously just about to. That name on that garage behind you is my last name. It may be corny, but I think it's cool when I see my family name on a tv show or video, or wherever. Lol. Thanks for another great video. I was unfamiliar with Corbett. Even when I don't know a celebrity you feature in your videos, I still enjoy hearing about their lives. Count me on the list of those who get the Bills, Paxton and Pullman, mixed up.
I remember Glenn when in the mid 80’s I had started to watch the reruns of Route 66. He was the perfect replacement for George Maharis . I liked the episode that gave him his entrance being a Green Beret returning home from Vietnam. He was classified as war hero and this was 1963, but America didn’t engage North Vietnam in war until November of 1965. Even in 1963 on Route 66 Vietnam was a topic mentioned in 1963. It was great that he became Martin Milner’s partner in Route 66 and did their share of traveling in that Corvette. He was also a very good looking guy and Route 66 was one of my favorite TV 📺 shows. Get your kicks on Route 66 was the slogan for the show.
Thank you Steve. For celebrating the lives and careers of so many celebrities. And letting us who basked in their starlight to know how they passed into eternity. Your work is appreciated! 👍
It's Tremedous that you are exposing these actors and actresses who are so worthy of the notariety but often overlooked in favour of the main characters who in many cases become the Big Stars! Thanks and Cheers from Canada!
Thanks Steve. Have you ever made a video about Gladys Georgianna Greene (Jean Arthur)? She was always one of my favorites. Another person I'd love to know a little more about is Peter Gunn's girlfriend Edie (Loa Albright), or his friend Lt. Jacoby (Herschel Bernardi) I know Herschel was the voice of Charlie the tuna, and I think the Jolly Green giant.
Nice work, love the memories, I look forward for more 👏🏻👏🏻 & yes I think we all get a little confused With actors , actresses The nice thing is people like you remind us of our youth.
All those roles and I remember him by far the best for his one appearance on Star Trek. Now that you called out the movies with John Wayne I do recall him but for some reason never associated him as the same actor from Star Trek. Again thanks for your content Steve
When I saw Glenn in a navy 1st class uniform it threw me off when I saw on his tombstone he was a CM3. I then realized the former was a publicity photo, especially since his hat wasn't squared away.
Love your series! You have such a great narrating voice. Hate when you end your videos with ‘Unless I come to my own sad ending.’ Let’s hope that ain’t for a several years at least.
Gone too soon. Saw him on TV shows such as Cannon, The FBI, Barnaby Jones, ABC Movie Of The Week, Kojak, Columbo, McCloud, McMillan & Wife, The Streets of San Francisco, and other TV shows.
I used to get Heather Thomas and Heather Locklear confused (just like Tommy Lee in "The Dirt") but then I did my own video for my channel on the difference between the two and figured it out! Unlike Tommy Lee, I never gor to date either of them.
I remember him best from the Star Trek episode but then again I am a closeted ST junkie. BTW, I always get Timothy Hutton and Tim Robbins confused. So annoying. 😆
