*a tractor? Was it a toy like the picture?! Or literally a real farm tractor?! I mean it must have been the toy, I used to use a big tractor on a farm when I was young and idk how he would be able to do all that what I had to* like he physically is too small to reach and control it I would surmise. Poor lil baby boy, innocent.

Expensive toys with all the extras do not replace parenting! One parent on chat said toddlers are learning to unlock front doors from RU-vid videos, again expecting a "toy" used unsupervised to REPLACE parenting. OMFG

Prayers and hold on longer a young man in my town was declared brain dead his mother wouldn't let them unplug him he woke up six months later from his coma he was paralyzed and mostly blind but he was alive and attended his highschool graduation after a long recovery period it does happen I've seen it

When I was 8 I snuck over to our pond to fish. Nobody had time to take me. When my mom got ahold of me I wished I had drown. I would have gotten away with it, but I caught a fish and proudly brought it back. 😂

I’m a dad and the only thing I can think of is where was I and why wasn’t I there to watch him. How could I let him leave my sight. Negligence.

Poor boy. How could he have understood the danger he was skirting? At 3? I feel terribly for him, and his family. But this is a hard lesson that many, MANY parents have learned BEFORE it was too late - children need supervision! At least children of a certain age, in certain environments. Maybe your 3 year old can swim. Maybe your 3 year old knows his or her address and phone number. Maybe your 3 year old knows how to dial 911. That doesn't mean they should be left to their own devices for ANY length of time.
