She was looking for a cheap mechanic because she was only gonna pay 1000, he agreed, gave her a deal and proceeded to hold her money hostage while also telling her the other stuff wrong with the car even though she didn’t ask for any of that. He tried to hustle her

He rebuilt the transmission with new parts. If you listened, he clearly stated after that the what he was talking about were the new parts on the transmission that he could of removed and used on another vehicle.

I caught that too. That lie told me everything I needed to know about him. The judge spends so much time talking, she misses important info.

@@Azkika1 He didn’t lie he was saying that he rebuilt the transmission with new parts that could be taken off and returned or used on another car. He didn’t want to junk the car with it in there a loss the new parts.

As long as it gets you where you have to go that's all that matters ! My grandma also liked her jeep because it was a little step up but has a car now. If you trader it for something else you might end up with tons of problems. Treat your car good and it treats you good usually. Keep what you have. 😊

they don't do that because they don't actually call. I think the same way you do, "oh that was a phone conversation, here is proof I called that day and spoke to them for 12 minutes." You don't even need to contact your phone provider any more, you can print the records yourself by logging in to your account online.

Two possibilities. They are lying OR they don’t have the ability to do simple tasks. People also don’t know how to backup their data to a new phone or again lying. Either way they are stupid or a liar. Neither bodes well. I also want to know why an educated woman like the judge doesn’t know that texts in the phone can be edited. You can delete the texts that incriminate you and leave the others. She still doesn’t get that.

Because when brake lines are bad if they release the car to her and she has an accident they can be held liable, not to mention they also described transmission, cooler lines, and when you rebuild a transmission, there’s a chance something broke free and took out the tranny cooler lines trust me it’s very slippery and it blows out right in front of the front wheels. It’s a safety hazard. If it were my shop, I would’ve just loaded on a flat and dropped it back to her, the fact of him, not wanting to release it with rusted brakes and bad brake lines. Any mechanic can tell. And trust me the mechanic shop would be held liable unless she signs a document stating they have told her the issues, and she agrees to not press charges or sue them for not if but when those brake lines explode

@@zackgovoski6830 well, why wasn't all of this said when the transmission issue was diagnosed before even touching the transmission? Shouldn't they have noticed all of that before? How were they gonna ensure the transmission was functional after repairing it if it was gonna be impossible to test drive after. He shouldn't have even attempted the repair.

First he says they were rebuilding the trans...then he says they took it out because it was brand new

@Tabetha Davis That's exactly what I thought. They must have realized, and in good faith should have just told her, that the car was in such bad condition and needed such extensive repairs that it wasn't even worth rebuilding the transmission.
