Bristol taught me 2 things. How much I hate stage cautions and too much tire wear is better than no tire wear.

We needed a race like this- we’ve needed one for a while. This wasn’t Bristol. Nascar shot itself in the foot by making the cars so equal to one another. If one car has just a smidge of something the others don’t, it’s unbeatable. Clean air is everything. Too much mechanical grip. Put a 20th place car in the lead and it’ll stay up there. Put the best car in the lead and there is nothing anyone can do. The overtime finishes that bring “entertainment” hide the fundamental issues of the car. While a dominant winner is old school Nascar, this didn’t feel like old school Nascar. The next gen car just doesn’t feel like Nascar at all, just manufactured entertainment rather than proper racing

The gen 4 had some terrible races at Bristol too, the cot was some of the best racing ....

@@truckercowboyed2638Yep single lane Bristol was mostly boring especially in the Spring with the exception of the 2006 Bristol spring race.

Larson made history again, that's something at least. After the chaos the last few weeks, a quiet race is fine. On the negative side, seeing drivers punt each other through the corners but having the cars not budge an inch shows just how much grip they have.

Been saying this for 3 years. Nextgen sucks Promote xfinity car to cup with 800hp. It will be the best racing in the history of NASCAR

These next 3 tracks are really really good for Bowman. He will make it through. Keep doubting

over 100 laps on these tires? What the hell is good year doing!?

For once you can't blame Goodyear here. They brought the same exact tire that wore out in 25 laps in the spring, which was the same tire they ran last fall. It's entirely a car issue.

This was the first race I’ve been to since Watkins 2022, Chase Briscoe on the last restart went insane for 10 laps after his crew lost him 11 spots

Dad what was it like to watch races at Bristol in the late 90's early 2000's. (Insert Vince Mcmahon Gif)

Well. As a Larson fan I thoroughly enjoyed that race lol. My favorite kind of race, when my driver (Was Harvick, now Larson) whips the field and wins.

I must be missing something. I've been watching NASCAR for 35 years, since I was 5 years old, and I thought this was just an average race, like 60-70% of them are. I can think of two right off the top of my head that were much worse, like last years Watkins Glen race and that spring Martinsville race. Last years night race at Bristol wasn't better either, it just had more cautions which caused more chaos which seems to be what everybody wants? I don't really get it. Yeah, it was uneventful and one drivers dominated, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The best drivers shouldn't be wrecking all the time no matter what track they're att and the best drivers on the best teams should dominate races from time to time. Honestly, it was kind refreshing to see one car dominate a race like that and it is needed sometimes. Like I said, average race. I'm not saying the car doesn't have problems, it certainly does, and I hope they address some of them very soon. However, I think something else they should do in the meantime is get rid of SMT data sharing. I'm telling you, it's part of the problem and a bigger part than people realize. It won't fix every issue, but it will help create more differences, mainly the driver skill and talent variable. What good is being the best driver if others can just copy your inputs in real time? Yeah, they might not be able to do it exactly, but the drivers are smart enough and good enough to get close, which levels the playing field in a way that wasn't available in the past. I've rambled too long already, so I'm done now...

2 1/2 drivers led the race today Bowman and Larson (Reddick led too but he never led a single lap under green so I wouldn’t personally count him)
@nomadman5288
@nomadman5288 2 часа назад
Yeah, but that's because Larson had a dominant car. It wasn't because nobody could pass. If it were, Blaney wouldn't have gained 16 spots and Larson wouldn't have lapped 2/3 of the field. There also were not any strategy opportunities throughout the race because of how clean it was.

I was really looking forward to this race and had high hopes for it since I LOVE the Sharpie 500 and my word that was dreadful. Being sick since Tuesday Night hasn’t done me any favors either as I watched it from my bedroom on my computer through a stream. Was on my phone half the race like it wasn’t even there as that’s how bad it was. I do like the winner though. Not to mention I was expecting Part 2 of what happened in the Spring and of course to no one’s surprise, the shit didn’t work. Back to the drawing board (again) NASCAR

Well of course.. 2 years agO when Buescher won and was a way better race, u called it the worst race at Bristol ever, just because Elliot got beat. all your Hendrick fanboys sucked last week, Trash race to you but everyone knew it was a good race, again Buescher won and u never even gave him his props. This race i slept over half of it and Larson won u watched all laps and enjoyed. So yeah you're ridiculously biased..
