Good Evening San, Thank you for this video, the front side on my T31 is little bit different to yours but the idea should be the same. I have minor crack on the front bumper and I'm now confident to remove it for repair.

If you can remove the fog lights from the engine bay, you may be able to locate the bolts. may be

Replacing Parker globes is easy. You can access it by opening the hood. There is a coupler in the headlight assembly, so turn it to the left and remove it. Pull out the Parker globes and insert a new one.

You are doing really good job mate. I have a question. Is it possible to take off the glass of the lamp and clean it inside, or it's glued? I have a few bugs there... I was also thinking about painting inside edges on black ;)

The headlight body becomes cloudy due to ultraviolet rays. In such a case, there is a method to polish the outside, but if the inside is also cloudy, it needs to be disassembled. Disassembly is also required when painting the plated part by custom, but the cover can be separated by immersing the headlight body in boiling water. However, if the cover is not firmly crimped when it is adhered, water droplets will cause condensation.

@@HeadwayDrive thanks for your reply mate. I already polished them from the outside and noticed that there is a few bugs sticked to the glass and it's dirty from inside (can't do anything with this without removing). So, now I decided to remove headlights and take off the glass, but I wonder if it's on some latches (like in some Mercedeses) or glued (like Alfa Romeo). If it's glued the only way to take off the glass is to heat the glue and it's more complicated (tried once in Alfa Romeo using owen...dont want to do it one more time...). If it's only on latches I would do it now. But if it's glued I think I would rather change as a whole elements for a few months after winter.

So... do you know is the glass assembled on glue or only latches?

It is crimped with a black butyl adhesive. After disassembling, pour the adhesive into the groove again and join it firmly.

いつも拝見させていただいております。自身も動画を見てT31の4インチのリフトアップをしました。お手数でなければですが、フロントのランプステーがどちらのものか教えて頂けますでしょうか？

また目立つエクストレイルが生み出されましたね。ランプステーはジャオスでT30用です。市販のステーなどを使って固定しています。

HEADWAY-DRIVE ご返信ありがとうございます。ジャオスの物だったのですね。少し調べて別サイトで掲載されてる画像も拝見させていただきました。現状販売が無さそうだったので、別サイトの画像も参考にしつつ代用品で頑張ってみます。今後の動画も楽しみにしております。

タイミングがいいですね、私も交換するつもりでしたのでベルトとテンショナーを購入済みです。雨が落ち着いたら作業しようと思います。

こんにちは。いつも楽しく勉強させてもらっています。質問なのですが、最近急に右ヘッドライトが結露してその水滴がなくなりません。調べると、ヘッドライトユニットの通気口が詰まっているせいかもしれないようです。まだヘッドライトユニットを外していないのですが、通気口がどのあたりにあるかご存じでしょうか。できれば外さずに何とかしたいのですが。。。

右ヘッドライト(HID)の通気口は、ウインカーバルブ下の左側側面にあります。なので手が入らないかもしれません。ゴムキャップとプラスチックキャップの二重構造になっていますが、指をかけて引っ張れば外れます。中のゴムキャップには薄いフィルターが貼られています。数日外したままにして結露が取れるか確認してください。あとは、それぞれのバルブのコネクターがしっかりはまっているか、Oリングはひび割れしていないかも確認してください。

@@HeadwayDrive 教えていただいたとおり手探りで探して何とかキャップに届いたので外せました。さらに外せるポジションランプのバルブなど外して数時間したら結露が消えていました。バルブのOリングは大丈夫そうでしたが古い車両なので硬化して隙間ができているのかもしれません。交換を検討します。この度は助かりました。ありがとうございます。
