Dina , it makes no sense for you to let your child celebrate Easter when she’s Muslim !!! Even if you say that it’s just for fun, it will be so hard to convince her not to celebrate when she’s older… also the story behind Easter and bunny and the egg has nothing to do with what happened to Jesus piece be upon him Make her miss the day they’re celebrating religious holidays if you can’t ask them to not have her participate

Also shouldn’t participate in an Easter parade. It is not permissible for Muslims to hold such celebrations or attend them or participate in them with the Christians, because that is helping in sin and transgression, and Allaah has forbidden that.
She is at school and it's perfectly fine for children to learn about other cultures and religions. In fact it states very clearly in the Holy Quran....God states that he has situated us into different tribes so we may learn about each other. (Paraphrased). Let's not be so exclusive! That's not what Islam is about.
Dina’s Grandma is English and not a Muslim so I guess it’s only right that her children learn about their heritage from both sides of the family? My son is in Catholic school and they celebrate other religions’ big holidays like Eid, Yom Kippur, Diwali etc. I think it’s beautiful that they are taught to be inclusive, tolerant and respectful of other people’s believes and traditions x
