NOTHING IS SOMETHING - #1 The bench 

Laurent is one of the founders of parkour. He's been refining his movement for more than twenty years.

I was literally crying at the end. Totaly inspired by the message, and every element of the video. This is the kind of essence that make me fall so hard in love with the bless of be abe to train, and more than that, to live the parkour.

I love he continues to move even when the old dog is like, "I'm just gonna walk right in on master's flow and see how he does"

There is no "avoidance" here. Just appreciation for an object and a mentality. Life has only the meaning you give to it. Movement is just a way to do that. :)

don't want to talk for Laurent, but the text at the beginning answers your question pretty much. I guess the ideas came to Laurent's mind because he is been moving for several years, and i don't know a single person who after doing parkour for lot of years, didnt experiment with creative movement and started to love diferent kinds of movement, not only efficient a-to-b deplacements.
