Do you recommend taking out the insole? I was gonna order a pair from your site but I think taking out the insole also changes up the sizing (needing to size down 1 if I take it out). Does the insole get you that much closer to the ground or is the mm height difference very minimal? Not sure if it helps on rooting either.
I don't think it's going to make a noticeable difference taking it out, I find it feels harsher under the foot without the slight padding from the insole, but that's personal preference of course.
Would you say those are more grippy than older Sabo Deadlift shoes ? I've owned my sabo for a while now and unless splash a bit of water under before deadlifting they slide a lot, looking for an upgrade, thanks!
Ordered a first pair with my shoe size which was too snug. Then ordered my foot length which was too big... now gotta place a third order right in between. It's been a process. I feel like Notorious sizing chart isn't accurate. This 3 order should work tho 🤞🏾
I got mine yesterday and have the same problem. Wanted to go up two sizes but after your comment I am reconsidering, may I ask how many sizes you went up between your first and second pair?
New to DL slippers. I pull conventional and noted that the black Notorious Lifters are out of stock in my size. As an intermediate lifter, will the Sumo Sole Gen 2.5 work just a well? Edit: And thanks for the video...super helpful!
The 2.5 would have a thinner sole than the SSG2.0, if that's what you are referring to. If you are referring to Gen 2 Lifters then it would be a toss up on which you prefer the look of.
I don't have enough experience with footwear for those events, however most people I've seen doing them wear more of a shoe vs a slipper so I would be worried there wouldn't be enough structure around the foot.
I found these are way more narrow than the gen 2. I had to return them (and their return process is terrible) because the fit was too narrow on this version.
