I play ssp5 on gas and my friend plays HPA. i haven't had a problem with any internal parts yet but he has already destroyed the body part next to the hammer twice. He fixed it once and after the second time he ditched it and played without it so far with no problems.
I just bought a 5.1”. Does anyone know if I can get a 6” rail replacement and it fit? I want to wait for the integrated tracers… don’t know if it would have different size choices tho
Most likely… a short stoke and a 140% spring is way overkill for this Hi Capa… Trust me I build them… The SSP5 is just as fast as my $2000 dollar Airsoft Masterpiece build…
First let me start by saying I appreciate addressing the issues that people are having. My pistol performs pretty mediocre at best with green gas and .30s even in fairly warm temps. Now to move on to the critique. I paid a premium price for this pistol but my experience with it has not been positive. There's so many issues that are present on the owners page it makes the criticism that Novritsch receives for it's products feel relevant and potentially valid. This really disappoints me because I really just wanted to believe these people were haters who didn't own the products so I put down $300 for a pistol and at best it's just a sidearm I really expected a lot more. It's definitely not a pistol primary as was pushed so heavily. Then I see all the cracked gearboxes on SSR4s. Definitely not making me feel great about buying Novritsch in the future.
What's the Joule output? Have you tried 0.4 BBs? 0.4G was advertised to reach the longer distances, "fairly warm" doesn't say anything as it varies for person to person and is not factual. And tbh, given how many SSP5 are out there, the amount of issues are fairly good compared to the rest.
@@UA8JK That's bellow what's recommended for green. With correct gas you should be getting 1.3J. Try black gas, then you will get the performance you expect.
Last weekend the valve knocker sear broke, it seems I'm one of those with a faulty gun? Will this piece continue breaking, or is the replacement support is sending a reinforced one? No issues with the nozzle for now..
I'm going crazy and I hope you can help, or at least guide me to find a solution. Brand new SSP5 6" received yesterday, primary airsoft HPA adapter on the mag the SSP5 came with. My M4 mag is a CYMA 220rd mid-cap. Took it into back yard to testfire, and it would shoot a few bbs, then dry-fire for a few shots (no bbs, just puffs of air), then shoot bbs, then not. It wasn't "consistent" other then it was a gamble each shot if a bb came out or not. Oddly it seemed if the gun was pointed at the ground at a 45-deg angle it was more likely to shoot bbs, but then when brought up to horizontal, sometimes it shot, sometimes not. Like I said it was fresh out of the box, the only tinkering I did was change the front/rear slide and outer barrel from black to their ano'ed ones (following their videos for installation). does this sound more of a gun issue, or a mag issue do you think? If a mag issue, which mags do you recommend I use? Thanks you so much for your content, and I hope you will be able to help me out!
Who can answer this better than you ;) - New ssp5, after secure the mag valves, Any advise before go to have fun with it?. I mean lube, clean.. something to inspect
Hello friend, I ask you why I can't find a nozzle, some manufacturing error, and where to find a nozzle available, even if it's in China or the USA. I'm from Spain
hello! I have just bought ssp5 from novritch two days ago and sometimes I have to use 0.28 (field rules). You said problem with low weight is solved in batch 3 without need to file a little the nozzle. I only see 2 batches in ssp5 6''. ¿ only ssp5 5.1 is batch 3 ? Thanks !
I'll make an effort to describe my problem briefly, and perhaps you or other viewers can assist me. My SSP5 will occasionally not fire or start firing, acting as though the trigger is locked. In these cases, I must remove the magazine, reinstall it, and then slide it back to start the cycle again. Other times, it will fire normally. Furthermore, it occasionally occurs even there are plenty bbs and gas in the magazine.. and I have to re-slide and will continue firing like nothing happened. Any insights on this?
I figured out what was wrong I broke the sear bridge that holds valve knocker like you showed about that arm inside (Using Hpa 105-115 psi max shooting 350fps with .25 bbs with Primary Airsoft HPA m4 mag adaptor with PTS 250 round mid cap mags). I fixed that but now another issue the right sear is wearing threw the slide and rubbing and grabbing on nozzle and preventing nozzle/slide from going forward and feeding next bb after rapid firing. Maybe the leaf spring is pressing too hard?????? Need a new slide was wondering if the colored slides are stronger or different material then original??? When the gun was working good it was shooting wicked fast and accurate to be honest.
Hi Wyz, got my new SSP5 5.1 and took it for first game today. Rather disappointed as multiple feeding issues. Running standard Nov mags on green gas (no HPA or other stuff) and had multiple feeding issues. First shot will always fire after manual cocking, but then subsequent shots are very inconsistent. Sometimes it cycles and no BBs come out, sometimes it will cycle and blank fire with trigger sticking at half cocked position. Other times it will full auto burst with single trigger press, and I noticed times when I could see BBs stuck in bucking. There were also some occasions when the trigger physically wouldn’t easily press (with safety pressure pad depressed). The issues occur across all 3x magazines I have (all doubled stacked correctly), with a range of BB weights from 0.28g to 0.4g, and persists if I use red gas (ambient temperature 12oC today) or fully loosen the TDC screw to remove hop. Similar to what is seen in these videos by other users: 1) ru-vid.comL5pe9som1LI?feature=share, 2) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zFyirKViJeA.html This is my first Hi Cappa style pistol. Am I doing something fundamentally wrong/stupid or is the unit that shipped faulty/defective? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
@@rdb9936 We wasn't aware of it when we purchased the mags. The pistol it self will perform tho, specially if you use an HPA adapter it if you really plan to use it as primary
