Kafka is still viable with Black Swan but I'm really curious how that will hold up when Jiaoqiu is released? I know he's a new Nihility character but that's all I know. At this point, even if you tell me that he's a DPS I still think he's going to be a hybrid since Acheron came out as a CRIT Nihility DPS. For all I care, we can have a DEF scaling Nihility character. For Blade, I think he's losing his spotlight but he will definitely come back when an HP buffing Harmony 5-Star comes out. Silverwolf is okay but if you think about it, she'll have to powercreeped 2 times because there is 2 sides to every end-game content. If a character can apply weakenss implant, 45% DEF down, multiple debuffs & have the capability to become a CRIT DPS, Support & Superbreak. Then at that point, she has been powercreeped.
@@generalsaverngild I mean he is a nihility healer, so I suppose he might not power creep other dots such as kafka and black swan, but might power creep huohuo? Not rlly sure because huohuo is still a very good unit, and after all jiaoqiu is nihility, whilst huohuo is an abundance character (which is the path of all healers?) so maybe the powercreep won’t be as much severe like blade….?
@@tqcx932 Thank you for informing me of Jiaoqiu's role. I'm certain that Huohuo won't get powercreeped in a while since you'll have to do it twice anyways like all other characters. I'm certain Blade will get out scaled but not necessarily powercreeped. So far, there has been no HP scaling units that are CRIT based like Blade. You also have to perform follow-ups, restore HP, become the next strongest Wind CRIT DPS & beat Blade's damage by a huge margin in order to actually powercreep him. I know FIrefly can fulfill this role quite well but the real question isn't' damage. It's the concept that matters and nothing beats a flavorless taste than a taste with flavors. That's what makes Blade so special. He's the only HP scaling DPS so far. Until two new HP CRIT scaling DPS comes out, that's when Blade has been powercreeped.

That list was made using "Character equipped with 5★ upgraded gear with optimal Main Stats and Sub Stats (with 24 desired sub stats out of a possible 54)," For all I know, the "optimal" stats can be anything. Provide context please. What do you mean where? Kafka is the Top DPS? If what you mean is Apex then sure. Top DPS can be Top 10, Top 3 or even T0. I also have no context for this as well. If you're talking about T0 she's not the top DPS my guy, it's Acheron & Firefly. There's potential in DoT. Blade being gone trash is true. He won't be doing anything in this patch nor do I think he's doing anything in the next one. But when a HP supporting unit comes out made tailored to Blade's entire kit, it's gonna pop off. Kafka being a Tier 0.5 DPS, okay so what? What makes her a DoT Queen? That does not mean that she cannot be powercrept. Possibly, another unit will be able to trigger DoT like Kafka's as well. Give this game another year and if we don't have two Limited 5-Star DoTs that can trigger DoT like Kafka and do more DPS, then she will not be powercrept. Silver Wolf being done is only in your books my guy. I'm sure you don't even use her and if you do, I have no clue why you're saying that she was already long gone. Being "was" or "now" is different. Yes, Silver Wolf can be used in Acheron and Dr. Ratio teams. Jiaoqiu is not powercreeping Silver Wolf. From the looks of it, he seems to be a Fire DoT. So basically 5-Star Guinaifen. It's speculation at this point but I'm NOT looking at leaks. And plus he's not a character I'm visually interested in. I don't care if you use him. I didn't want to bring up other characters but if you persist, then I will talk about your characters. What does Dr. Ratio have to do with not being meta? First of all, Dr. Ratio according to the Prydwen's MoC Tierlist, is in fact the top Meta Character (DPS). Saying that a certain MoC team is meta (more used) than one another is like throwing water at water. Who gives a damn if you use another character over another. What does T0 have to do with Jiaoqiu and DoT comps? Surely this is just a statement. It says that Kafka is T1 in Apocalyptic Shadow. First of all, it's not Kafka that improved, it's DoT that improved. Saying that one character benefited is valid. But not mentioning and excluding other characters of that archetype is not a good look. Of course having more DoT characters is a bonus but that does not mean that Kafka is more cracked. A character is cracked when they do the things that others can not do exceptionally well. In this case, she is already cracked. She can't get even more cracked. Yes, DoT as an archetype is future proof. Arguably, everything is future proof since characters are unlikely to become obsolete or fail in MoC. Until that time comes, people can still run Arlan in MoC 12. Of course, Kafka is the only one that can trigger DoTs. That is to say that, characters that can trigger DoTs and do more damage in the future will powercreep her. Whether or not I can say shit, it doesn't matter. Because you probably don't give a shit too. I never mentioned that I will get Kafka nor do I say that I will drop her. Being Professer X has nothing to do with Honkai Star Rail. I'm observing the game and I'm estimating what kind of characters can come out. It's theory crafting. Kafka can be used as the core of DoT. It's not that she is. Everyone thinks differently about team building. Not everything revolves around a certain character. I'm not waiting for Jiaoqiu and I'm certain that Silver Wolf will still be used.
