She did fight for 9 years but i wonder if she has the support, resources or knowledge to do what she wanted.

​@blueberrysmilie1 I think it was the lack of resource and not having a support system. Nowadays with social media we can join support groups that are helpful. Glad this lady got a happy ending to her story.

Because when you are poor and don’t have the resources the people who have resources always win.

That’s why karma/npam doesn’t make sense. They only see npam when it happens to other people but not when it happens to them.

Exactly. It's not like she finally won her kids back after 9 yrs. Or that the dad was finally found to be bad. No, it was the stepmom and that's why the court decided to give the kids back to her bc the kids were more u safe wit the dad and stepmom. Had the stepmom not abused the daughter, the dad would still have custody of the kids.

You are right too. But I don't understand people said "it doesn't add up her calling the police" At that moment she probably had no choice but to call for help. And importantly, We wont understand her situation unless we in her shoes. Maybe there's too many people pressed charged against her. And she fought alone. Because it happened to me too. I went through almost the same situation as her. We have a normal divorced but my ex in law tried to find any reason n nit nag to take my children away from me. All Because they don't want their son to pay child support! But the in law never can love or care for my children. No matter how good of a mother you are if your husband n his whole family is against you you can't fight the whole pac alone. So I get her when you fought alone against their whole family. All I said is karma is a bitch. What goes around comes around. Muaj neeg ua muaj neeg tsim.

@@douamoua7573 I’m sorry you went through that. I mentioned in my other comment that this lady probably snapped bc of all the shit she went through with her in-laws. She did not get any support from anyone not even her parents so she went through hell. It’s sad how the justice system work. She simply just fell through the crack. Her only fault was that she kept staying even though she knew they hated her. Hmong in-laws especially will make your life hell because they are uneducated about child support. Most Hmong men does not believe they need to lose a penny for their children after divorce if they lost custody. I hope things turned out good for you.

​​​@@kellielee9829Thank you. Don't take me wrong sister. I totally agreed with you, everything you've said. You couldn't said it better. Some old folks n Hmong men do think they above the law. But the truth is the truth. Ua neeg zoo thiab ua neeg ncaj yeej zoo tshaj. Eventually the truth will come out. I'm glad is a good out come for her. Because it can very be hard n dark days as a mother when we loose our children to selfish people. Knowing they can't care or love them. Only a good loving mother will knows that feeling. Was once a dark moment for me at one point. But I didn't gave up. I fought n fought for 2 years for my kids especially the oldest that got brain wash by the whole family. Kids know what n where will makes them happy. So eventually she found her wat my back to me. She was longer wanted to stay his family or him anymore. Thankfully I worked for the county and my staff, supervisor program manager, friends n family submitted petitioned. Everything was dropped. But It can be a nightmare if anyone falsely accused of someone n case is generated. Then that individual have to proof their innocence.

People can easily scratch themselves. When one person is against a group your story has no credit. I do feel bad for her being in a helpless situation. She sounds naive and has no support even her own family didn’t support her through court.

Probably bc too many fake witnesses and the kids are probably dumb and don’t know what’s going on. Either that or she’s hiding something. But if it’s true, she’s probably one of those innocent people who fell through the crack of the justice system.

I was thinking of the same thing! This story makes no sense. If she wasn’t crazy, they wouldn’t take her kids away. She is not telling the whole story.

Or that family drove her crazy and she snapped. Sometimes innocent people snap and it only takes that for them to lose everything even though they are good.

I can picture it happening. You got the whole family accusing her. But for her no support no eye witness to what happened. If I was a cop, I would have picked the family side, too! That's just how shit kind of goes, i guess.....
