Nucleares - RESCUING a Meltdown

Using the "Reverse Core Meltdown" Procedure found in the Nucleares Tablet, I cause a Meltdown of the Reactor Core to which I then have 5 Minutes to stop the Complete Destruction and Detonation of the Core & Fuel to then bring it all back down below 55 Degrees (and Non-Reactive) to extract the Fuel Rod and Repair it all back to new to produce power out to the Grid like nothing bad ever happened. Harder than you think to cause a Meltdown this quick...?
I also explain and show you How to Change the .XML files to alter your Save games to give you $99,999,999... or you can simply apply for a loan through the tablet but that's easy and I wanted to show you a way to get into a 'Sandbox Mode' faster (as this mode will be added to the game shortly I'm sure, for Testing purposes).
Save Game - File Location...
Copy & Paste this into the pop-up window when you press WIN + R on your Windows Keyboard:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\LocalLow\Aerilian\NUCLEARES

Took me a while to figure out how to cause a meltdown every time and I found out that Nucleares doesn't like being in 2x or 3x time speed at all during this Meltdown procedure. Let me know what you would like to specifically see how to do... I also will be releasing a Hard Mode Career Playthrough in Nucleares very soon :)

I thought hitting the "SCRAM" button will force the control rods to 100 at maximum speed instead of manually setting the depth to 100. Was there a reason you didnt use it?

@@dillond9747 If I recall correctly, the SCRAM system of the very first nuclear reactor (which was basically a proof-of-concept, built under the stands of the University of Chicago football stadium) was just a man with an axe, standing by to chop a rope if the control rods stopped responding to directions from the operator. Cutting the rope let gravity take over and pull all the control rods simultaneously into the 100% inserted position. This would also make it impossible to get the rods back _out_ again until someone had a chance to attach a new rope, but preventing a meltdown was worth the potential inconvenience. The Nucleares reactor is supposed to be an experimental new type of pressurized water reactor, but it still has its control rods suspended over the core and inserted downwards, just like less advanced PWRs and even the very first reactor, so hitting SCRAM _should_ set the rods to 100% insertion with one press. Even if the control rods were getting a bit warped by the heat, modern reactors built in a similar way have _springs_ built in that help give gravity more oomph.

Brilliant info... Thanks heaps for sharing as I didn't know about the 1st Reactor etc. But I had a sneaking suspicion that the Control Rods would be on a spring or just via gravity to be inserted to neutralise the Reactor

Haha yeah... its a little strange since its in Spanish as the Solo Dev is Argentinean, I think? (Could be wrong but defs all in Spanish)

It did have co-op but was severely buggy as apparently servers through steam or otherwise would be difficult and expensive with the current state of the games coding etc. ✌️😥

Coop is very buggy at the moment and is being worked on currently... Also due to the way my PC's are set up and how bad my Australian Internet is, it's not a plausible option for me to Play multiplayer in Nucleares 😥✌️😇

Ive seen that video funny enough and i might actually try it... When i tried it last the crane's camera was so unusable and blurry, i never really thought of it haha

The Cables and Pipes that your player can reach himself are able to be repaired by you, to which you actually gain money for completing the job/repair. Anything your player cant reach, AO will need to repair 🤓✌️

I show you how to change the save game files .Xml for unlimited money in this Meltdown Video... The Money glitch works by taking a Loan, then you leave via the train... when you start another game, you have the funds still from last game... The Solo Dev does know about this glitch and is in the process of fixing it now so not sure if still works or not ✌️ That's why I showed the .XML altering since it can't be patched or fixed 😇

Those are your nuclear licenses... you can lose them if too many meltdowns happen etc. ✌️

I did that on purpose since there is such a long time skip to repair everything, I left it on so I didn't have to Charge AO before continuing with another maintenance analysis 😇🤔✌️

Thats because I left the Generator on 🤓✌️ If i had turned it off before the huge time skip then he may have not had any charge at all and I would then have to wait for him to charge a while before doing the maintenance analysis ✌️
