There's no way they came straight from the fryer? That's very likely what happened. Run out of nuggets, waiting on new ones, from fryer to lap. Straight from fryer then between belt and skin, especially for an extended period, would do it. Then, the child has a condition where they are verbally limited and may not understand what to do in the situation, to prioritize getting it off her skin. This is all speculation, but I won't pass judgement, especially after being duped by the disinformation campaign surrounding the woman and her hot coffee. Go dive into that story. Pun intended, just like the coffee, it boils down to an expectation of the product not being excessively hot. The child's mother is aware of her condition, but didn't think she was in Superheated Nugget Territory. She thought her child was dealing with normal temperature food and didn't have to worry about such a thing.

I spoke with someone who is from Liberia and he told me that whole families are able to survive on $3 US dollars a day worth of food. That’s how much our currency is worth in other countries where the illegal immigrants come from. When they send back the untaxed money they earn here, their families live like elites there. There’s something wrong about exporting the American dream at the expense of Americans’ American dream. These people are not looking to stay. Watch how they will flee once the US dollar loses its value.
