I think we all need to exaggerate in practice what we want to work on the golf course. I need to double some of my numbers to be on the safe side on the course.
Online lesson are now a possibility on Skillest: skillest.com/app/profile/marc...
Let me help you get an effortless golfswing with speed and accuracy. I call it the circle of speed. A good release will help you to a better impact and longer drives and irons without slice and hook. How to swing a golf club need to be adjusted to your skill level and experience.
Long and straight is the goal for everyone but it takes time. Try to focus on one thing not everything when you practise. Impact, face control and swingpath will always be the most important part to drill. We focus too much on rotation but no good golf shot will be executed just by rotating.
I’m naturally right handed but all my tips works for both left handed and right handed golfers.
We also need to understand that many myths in golf are misleading. Everything that you find on the internet isn’t true. Ben Hogan, Sam Snead are two of the legends that are often misunderstood.
We shall not keep our head still, only start with the hips, look only at the ball or keep the left or right arm straight.
If you use callaway, ping, titleist or taylor made clubs doesn’t matter you can learn to hit good golf shots. Your loft or your shaft on the club will not change but you can always get better.
Find what inspires you. Golf basics are the same for everyone. The pga tour, longdrivers or other good golfers can all help you find better golf shots. Watch what they do instead of listed to what they say. Listen mostly to your body and figure out what you need to do to produce the same results as the pros on TV. Be careful when you watch a golf swing in slow motion. The result isn't always what the golfer is trying to do. Feel and real are seldom the same.
Mike Malaska, Mike Austin, Mike Dunaway, Pete Cowen and Steve Pratt are some of my favorite golf instructors online. Find the tips that make your golf better. Decide what you want to hit. I teach a draw but many like a fade and nobody likes a hook or slice.
Your hips or your lag is not the key to golf. Your hands will decide the shot and you can do like Tiger Woods and trust your hands. Teach your hands to hit different shots. Hit big hooks and slices to understand what happens. Only straight is not gonna teach you anything.
Bryson Dechambeu and Kyle Birkshire can inspire you to hit it longer. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson can give you inspiration and motivation to test new things and new golf shots. Linn Grant, Viktor Hovland and Ludvig Aberg can show you the future of golf.
The Masters, Players Championship, The Players, The Open and US Open can make you love golf even more. See the best in the world solve all the problems we all need to master any golf course. Golf is a craft and you need fantasy, feel and skills to master it.

Hi Marcus, greetings from a long time subscriber in South Africa.
@phreak761
This is why some days we're flushing the ball with a nice small draw and think we've got it, then the next day that feelings gone and we're back to square one again coming over the top.

This question is a little bit off subject, but I’m interested in knowing for sure. I was another RU-vidr cover your method swinging the club. He went over your setup saying the the weight should be primarily on the trail leg. I never picked up on that watching your videos. Thanks for making your videos I always find them interesting .
@chiefbrody3406
Fantastic work as always Marcus 👍🏻
@walt5797
Absolutely correct again my friend. this is the method of teaching myself that have adopted, muscle memory is a wonderful thing in golf. Thank you.
@rodmoura5851
Thanks for another great video. I have been struggling to bring the same shot shape to the course that I have in practice. I am already sure that this video will help with that.
@nails0401
Love it! So helpful, thank you!

Hello Marcus, great exercise and great video. I also try to come from inside for pitch and the contact is really crisp. Thanks again for all your videos.
@michaelpeacock5820
At the driving range today and with a 7 iron managed to create a slight draw and then a slight fade when I wanted to. Thanks for your insight to the swing
@jeffcalhoun796
Marcus, I have found that if I REALLY take away to the inside, I mean having my knuckles brush the outside of my pants leg, I manage to come back down maybe 1-2 degrees back from the inside, like you say, really exaggerate the inside move. Otherwise I’m 1-2 outside in coming down. Thank you so much for your advice!! Keep it up!

We can practice all day long but if we’re not doing it the right way it’s brutal to our brain that we’re trying to program

I came across your swing this weekend and man am I impressed. I'm working nights right now and have only hit into my net. I really like it very much. I want to really work on it for a little bit and then get a swing analysis from you. I was going to ask if you plan on doing a course. I was with Tom Saguto doing the stack n tilt and he has a course with video's for $10 a month. A lot of them are similar to his free video's but in an order to learn his swing. Have you thought about doing an online course like this? If not no problem I know that takes a lot of time. I have a horrible left knee, I'm overweight and 62 so when I saw your swing is from the right side I was excited. I cannot do the left side swing anymore that's for sure. So I can't wait to get into this swing with your help. I have watched a lot of your video's and just watched the 5 part golf test dummy video's of your swing. I also saw where you tied for 1st as the best swing to use. I was going to ask what would you tell me to concentrate on 1st in learning your swing? I really appreciate how you do your video's. I can't wait to really get into this swing method as I believe it will be perfect for me. Sorry to be so long winded and I hope I'm not taking up to much of your time. So please let me know what to start on and I will get right on it. Then I will send a video for you to help me learn your swing. I played today and you are correct I had some really great shots and some really bad shots. I’m really having trouble with the release and pushing with my right hand. When I think I did it correctly I hit a nice tight draw. Thanks again for all your videos they are great.

I've been playing golf trying to break the par barrier for 20 years. Sometimes people ask me for swing advice and I tell them if you keep doing the same thing you're doing then you will get the same results you are getting. Exaggerate the move so you can see and feel a difference. Otherwise you are not really changing. If someone tells me I need 6 degrees of forward shaft lean with my irons, I try to hit it with 30 or 40 degrees forward shaft lean. Why? because the only feedback I get is how the shot feels when I hit it. Am I hitting with 30 or 40 degrees forward shaft lean? Probably not.
@kyle8370
I like your videos. How would you hit a fade on the golf course under your system.
@artimusprime3855
Great video! I was going to question why you have a 10 degree in to out path. I’m curious what your attack angle and face to path numbers are to hit it on target.
@alfiealf1553
When Moe Norman made contact with the ball his entire arm was aligned straight with the club shaft. That was what he called “single plane”. What are your alignment angles with upper arm, fore arm and shaft upon contact? I’ve always struggled with this alignment…. Thanks for all your great videos!
@daniellindborg1637
Having the ball that far back in the stance makes it easier to come from inside 10 degrees. Do you suggest that for ”everyone”?
