The crazy thing is how long this guy has been this talented. His videos from a decade ago are just as good as his videos today. Man this cover is spot on.

aside from that highpitched buzzing from mic this is great. I would even venture to say better then all the other covers from other note worthy performers of other bands

I hardly ever comment on youtube videos, but had to for this one. This might be the best overall cover I've seen someone do. From start to finish, you nailed it - vocals and acoustic. I don't know if you practiced this for weeks before posting, or if you did it off-the-cuff. Either way, I don't give a dam. This is an outstanding, outstanding, outstanding cover. I'm pretty much blown away by the quality.

That's what made Layne special his own little adaptations of his own songs. Love some of the changes Layne made when his voice started changing bcuz of all the dope. After Unplugged version of down in a hole I don't listen to any other versions

It seems like he just does this stuff to do it, in order to get famous on RU-vid you need to put the energy into promoting yourself, a lot of people won't look at your stuff for example if you are not using a high quality filming and recording gear. Not a knock on the guy, It's just how it is considering how competitive guitar RU-vid is now.

Amazing. I would like to see this song played live by Layne Staley but we know that will never happen again. You come close. I have been searching on YT all the Nutshell covers and you're the only one that comes close. With the exception of Aaron Lewis. Keep doing what you do.
