Yeah. This is a great demo. It really shows that this unit is a very sweet base for anything apart from it's other capabilities. I want to use it as a line out with an IR in between my amp and loudspeaker, but it's nice to know it'll also serve as a very nice backup guitar rig.
Great demo !! Also very good that you described your signal chain and I am surprised that you didn’t use a preamp. Awesome !! Most reviews don’t tell this and then the review is worthless for me. Well done and I think I will buy one 😁👍
Thanks a lot! Indeed I always try to be as transparent/thorough as possible regarding the setup. That way people listening won't get the wrong idea. If you end up buying it, I hope you have a lot of fun playing it! 😀
@@RudyBressers No thanks well earned !! Thanks for your answer. I am stil considering because I have a Rivera Clubster 25W tube amp with a Harley Benton Power Attenuator and a NUX MG-300 and also a lot of plugins on my DAW. So I can make a good guitar sound. But the NUX solid studio could be used to make silent recordings with only the tube (pre)amp 😊
@@reneliebregt6319 Yeah sometimes it can be handy to have a more silent option as well. And it's always tricky with new pedals or plugins: usually you already have more than enough to get a good sound... It's just too tempting every so often to get something new 😀.
Thanks dude! 😀 Yeah it's a very good pedal for the price. A lot of people demo pedals using a lot of distortion, I often prefer to emphasize the cleaner sounds.
Thanks dude! I always like demoing pedals with mostly clean sounds, so you can really hear how it sounds (without a ton of distortion 😁). The reverb is from a plugin: Valhalla Vintage Verb. The pedal itself doesn't have reverb built in.
Hey man, thanks a lot! 😀 Yeah, a not so great power supply can sometimes make things a bit noisy. I almost always use the Truetone 1 Spot power supply. Very reliable, no noise (at least not for me), powerful enough to power quite a few pedals, and also very affordable. Check it out, I don't think you'll be disappointed 👍
@@bahiodj5566 If you just want Fender emulation sounds, then you can just as easily buy the American Sound. The NUX has more options, but you wouldn't be using those extra options much (so no need to pay extra 😁)
@@bahiodj5566 Maybe the NUX sounds a bit better to my ears (regarding Fender amp emuation), but it's not a huge difference. So the question is if it's worth the price difference. For me it was not: I sold the NUX and now use the Joyo AS. But that might be different for you of course.
