Wanna know what drove the cost so high? These communial areas. Cause they have HIGH MAINTANCE COSTS. If you put a port-a-potty there... you need a company to come pick it up daily , empty it and put down a new one. For 1 event.. it's cheaper then putting down sewage.. but after a year? Those costs go up. So now imagine how many times that tank has to be emptied of the communal rooms and how much gas and resources are used to sustain it? I totally agree with you. We should be helping our own U.S. citizens first!! We have so many of them homeless veterans most of which are on alcohol and drugs. I understand that some people want to be homeless but, to those who want help need to go to rehab. They have many free programs. Once they are clean and sober they can get government housing. Living in hud apartments aren't ideal but, it beats the streets any day.
