Follow Mainline Steam's KA Class steam locomotive as it visits New Zealand's South Island during October 2012. KA 942 was filmed during visits to Dunedin, Invercargill, Christchurch, Arthurs Pass and Picton. Ride in the cab of the powerful 4-8-4 as it climbs the Southern Alps between Springfield and Arthurs Pass, then follow it up the Kaikoura Coast before the engine heads back to the North Island.
