This year on December 21 the Christmas Star is supposed to appear again. There hasn’t been a Christmas Star for 800 years according to NASA. That was back in 1220. That was between BC and AD right around the time of Jesus birth. That can’t be a coincidence! I think it’s a sign of hope 😇
O little town of Bethlehem How still we see thee lie Above thy deep and dreamless sleep The silent stars go by Yet in thy dark streets shineth The everlasting Light The hopes and fears of all the years Are met in thee tonight For Christ is born of Mary And gathered all above While mortals sleep, the angels keep Their watch of wondering love O morning stars together Proclaim the holy birth And praises sing to God the King And Peace to men on earth
This is glorious, no doubt about it. But all I want in the world is to hear this tune in my small, rural church on Christmas eve. Softly sung to only candlelight. Standing with my mom and dad. You can't go back home...
This Christmas Carol is one of my favorites. I love this song since I was a little girl and this english version is Wonderful. Sorry if I was wrong but I am learning English and sometimes I make mistakes. My greatest dream is to speak English as well as English people.
You will :), just practice and you can do anything. And don't worry about speaking as well as English people, you speak how you speak, and that's what makes it unique and beautiful. Just remember, even people who speak English will mess up there words sometimes :P.
You are doing splendid!! lol. "I've loved this song" Would have been better. I am English and I can't speak any other languages at all really, there is not much incentive too as everyone will be able to speak English better that I would be able to speak their language!
The MTC nails this. Good use of pauses, And notice the signature way they seem to drag behind the beat while really starting the words for that beat a split second early. The thoughtful ponderousness adds a loving gravitas to the song. To many this song is merely a pretty geographic ode that conjures up Christmas card images, but to me it speaks of the grand joyous irony of a little town sleeping through something so cosmically monumental that it divides transforms the calendar from BC to AD

+Agostino Marfella Its God's Gift. He gave us our voices, our ability to sing for a reason. So we may live and be happy. Singing really gives you a feeling of wholeness tbh.
Abencoe nosso Deus.!
