Ohhh these are always hit or miss - it is an interesting mix for sure. It is super good to hear the texture is nice! Wish they had focused more on the flavour though. It is crazy to see how much better norco is - I wish we would try it! Might have to fly over just to give it a go! See you next time!
I had a berry flavored milk in Taiwan a few years ago that was both thick and extremely smooth and hoped this would be similar to that. Oak's thick milks in 'that' bottle have never done it for me. Shaking ruins it with too much froth and the flavors haven't impressed me. The Oak berry I think I like a little better than the choc malt era but as a high protein one I wouldn't drink this again as I don't need it. I appreciate that they've made a flavor that others haven't made before, it'd be cool to see more new 'new' flavors. Pancake w/syrup would be up there for me.
I do like the idea of pancakes with syrup- but I just did a little search apparently Maple Syrup has done been only once before by Oakhurst, a Kansas based dairy company in the US! I'd love to give that a go for suuuure. Taiwan has a great rep for flavoured milk, if you ever remember the company let me know what it was please :)
Very interested to see what this milk will be like, berry is definitely an interesting one. Wonder if it will just be strawberry or not? Not surprised by the mixture of smells, seems like they are throwing in a lot of flavours. Definitely agree with the thickness comments, needs an equal balance. Was also a good jump! Nevertheless, another excellent review!
