During this video you join me at The Oaks Lakes in Sessay North Yorkshire where I'm fishing on Maple Lake running through my approach to sobbing bread in the winter months

Lovely peg, to be honest though you can actually fish it better from the next one round as everything is a bit closer to you, only problem is the road behind is also a bit close

hi John, thanks for that. its difficult to pick the float up on the go pro I use without constantly getting up to move the camera. hopefully I can find a way around it though!

Hi Ian, generally the wide bay from 11-15 is good. Lots of ide round there. Peg 38 in the corner where the aerator is good for carp to aswell as ide

Hi Adam great video, 2 questions 1st are Shimano still making poles ? & 2nd would you use a lighter float for your dobbing rig . Cheers Paul.

Hi Paul, no they re not making poles at the moment although it is something currently being looked at Regarding the float I generally use a 4x12, of conditions are bad I’ll step up heavier though but still with just shot under the float

Great information, thanks Adam, noticed you bite or chew the bread a bit, I tend just to squash the air with my fingers, what is the difference if any please?

I was having to use a neat punch to punch my bread out as I’d left my bread punches at home 🤫🤫 I was just compressing it but no different to doing it in your fingers to be honest

I just blew them out and then stuck them in my mouth and compress them I would normally use the brass headed drennan punches though which do the job for you
