Everyone knows Liam is cool but Noel is so underrated. Working class dude, smart as hell for no reason, amazing songwriter, great performer. Absolute legend
i cant inagine many better feelings then to be doing this for a crowd this size. with them knowing the words. every single one of them right on time and in tune. its heaven to me, being able to do this.
@@jaseobrien2559 I know it's a joke. But Kurt Cobain is so infinity worse than Noel Gallagher in every conceivable way. It's a huge shame that amongst Americans Cobain is the voice of Gen X in music and not Noel.

@@jaseobrien2559 It’s a mighty shame, in my view. I too had a period in my life where I really dug Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. But are we being serious? Noel Gallagher was no-doubt writing some of best songs of the century on Oasis’s first 3 albums, comparable to the Beatles, I honestly cannot say the same for Cobain.
Liam wanted this song too but Noel put his foot down and told him no he wasn’t having this and wonderwall! Liam hated wonderwall! Noel didn’t see himself as a good singer back then but I think he smashed this ( let alone writing the songs and his talent on the electric guitar) Both fantastic artists not to mention the rest of the band but jealousy has a way of rearing it’s head in the end just so glad got to see them perform as “Oasis” they are just as good individually but together they were outstanding x
Weird how drastically Noel's accent has changed over the years. He sounds like a completely different person now. Liam in interviews in 2023 sounds EXACTLY like Liam in 1996, just a lot more chilled and 'nice.'
There is no reason to underate Liams Voice. Both of them brought some decisive factors into that project. A perfect band is like a very well seasoned dish. Many small nuances result in the perfect artwork.

All these bastards saying 2005 is better. Yeah no way. Noel is in such confident, and defiant style here. By 2005 these songs become so much more dry and polished.

What Noel achieved with that band is beyond a miracle! I can't think of any band that have come from such worse lifes! One of the greatest songwriters ever and im not sure anyone has written a better song!
