Haven't you heard the parable of the drowning man. A Christian calls on God to help him because the land is being flooded. A man in a boat comes to ask if he needs help and he turns him away because God will save him. A second man in a boat comes, once again he turns the boat away because God will help him. Finally, a helicopter comes offering to help, he turns him away because God will help. Eventually, he drowns. When he dies and sees God he asks why didn't you help me? And God replies by saying I sent you three people to rescue you and you turned them all away. My point is yes, we need God's grace but God's grace cannot be received if we also choose not to put in the work. It's like not studying for an exam and pleading God will let you pass with flying colors when you refuse to put in the work to study.
Anybody can say "I trust in God". Someone can worship a chair and call that God. But you get real specific when you say "I trust Jesus", which he didn't say.

You would think Obama could use all the graces of God he could muster considering the sorry state of our country, the economy and his failed presidency. I think he is the beast I’ve never seen a person in politics let alone president say so much negative against Christianity at the same time refusing to say anything bad about Islam he wouldn’t even call ISIS Islamic extremists. I’m a conservative Christian and don’t like Obama, and will always vote republican, but when he talks about putting people back to work, I mean, he does have a point.
