Credits sound like a fair exchange for your own time, frustration and potential error. You are essentially buying someone else's time and skill. Worth it to me.
My OBDEleven that I bought from you was just delivered today and I absolutely love it. The first thing i did was buy the UrbanJoke V2 with the free credits they gave me and decided to try out other tweaks with the help of the forums. I gotta say it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be being someone whos never touched a VCDS. In the span of an hour i got Seatbelt chime off, igniton warning chime off, ECS sport/OFF button function, mirror dip, carbon fiber display, comfort turnsignal to 4, and messed with the soundaktor. It took a little bit of messing round with because the adaptations aren't exactly laid out like VCDS but its not difficult. I'm still trying to get some stuff to work like having the 3rd brake light flash when i get on the brakes and some other stuff that i havent been able to find on the forums. I definitely recommend OBDEleven and I wear my Deutsche Auto Parts sticker on my MK7 with pride!
+AversaS i honestly dont know, it runs through bluetooth, i think you would need some sort of internet so if you can connect to wifi you should be fine. i think iphones have easy hotspot option. i run it through my andriod device and havent seen any performance losses when my LTE signal is lower
Does your mirror return to it's original position after dipping in reverse or does it go a little higher each time? I read some people were saying it didn't return to the original position and they had to keep adjusting it down. The mirror dip is the main reason I'd buy this but if it doesn't work... pass.
@@youridol Best guess the app tracks your sign up date. If you set the clock back to before that date it will credit every time it hits the sign up date.
I currently have 2018 Q5 & a 2010 Golf and am considering buying this device. Have some questions: (1)Will it work with other car brands? (2)If I bought the $60 one, will it allow me to read the ATF temperature? Allow me to release the pressure in the DSG? Customize window closing/opening? (3) Do I need to pay each time I execute these functions? (4) What is the difference between the $60 & the $80 one? (5) Will it work on Galaxy S7? (6) What is long coding? (7)
Just got mine from shopDAP today, set it up this evening. Not sure if it was true when this video was shot a year ago, but I can only get 6 free credits per day. Still, it was worth it to get the "global close" windows & sunroof close & open with the keyfob (also works with the keyless entry on the door handle!). Look forward to trying more, especially anything that will improve the headlight output/pattern (on bi-xenon with AFS). I might even consider buying credits (this from a guy who has never spent a penny on iTunes!). Thanks! P.S. - I also bought a set of DAP stickers - any chance you might do a tutorial video showing how to apply these? :-)
So, in the apps, if you pay 10 credits to do something, is that option permanently available for your vehicle or do you have to keep purchasing it to make changed (on, to off)
This is incredible. I hate that it's not available for iPhone. Do you know if iPhone support is coming? By the way, $12 for coding the tail lights is an awesome price. I paid $40 for somebody else to do it!

kinda sucks you have to pay for each adaptation to the tail lights normal > urban joke once would be fine but to go back urban > normal is kinda dumb also if you do it once it should be unlocked forever no?
Sorry I O know this is not the top but .... How can I test if radiator cooling fans are working or not in Audi A7/A6 TDI 3.0? My car is not overheating but while on my driveway I never heard fans running after coming from driving. I saw a test for Fan1 and Fan 2 in this OBDEleven, but both says " Not supported" when I try to select value for that test.
I have a 2015 Volkswagen GTI and I bought the obdeleven last year and I can't find the passcode that I came with it how can I obtain the passcode to start using it again?
So why doesn’t the “get free credits “ option work? It just buffers and then says check internet connection, when the internet connection is full as I’m sat by my router, but if I select buy credits that one loads up straight away?? Answer please, have you turned off the free credits option for your own gain?
Definitely worth the investment in this small device it can actually do so much. But it would’ve been so much better if they had the app for Apple iPhones instead of android.

How does it work if you use the function for exampel for Rest Inspection. Does it cost 10 credits each time or 10 credits can I use it as many times as I want?
hi guys- my main question is: most of the codes/coding info for the odb11 seems to be for VWs. are the codes the same for audi B8s? eg: will the adaptions be the same for seat-belt chime delete in an MK7 and an A4-2012? TIA.
If you use an app and spend credits but decide you don't like it, or say you only want it on sometimes, is that yours forever or will you have to buy it again!
Paul, I got my OBDeleven in the mail. I scanned my car and got some fault codes, very helpful. However, the Apps section only has 2 Apps and it seems like a lot of coding tweaks are not available. Any help here on what tweaks I can make? I drive a 2007 A3 8P
Hi, I saw that there is a section called "Optical Parking System", and I was wondering if that has code to activate dynamic guidelines with the rearview camera. I have a Golf with the parking sensors, but the dynamic guidelines only activate when I'm in the screen with the distance markers not the rearview camera. Audi A3's have the dynamic guidelines, so I thought OBDeleven might offer it. If it doesn't, do you by any chance know of any other methods to add this to a MK7 Golf/GTI? Thank you in advance!

+Stephen Dey you can download the app and check out the listing of ones available for your vehicle. They have the amount of credits required shown on each one.

Hi, I have a 2016 gti se non nav. I just recieved the Obd eleven scan tool. Ive used it successfully to code everything i wanted using the apps function, besides the VIM option to watch videos on display. For some reason i cant get it to work after coding. Any help is appreciated!
I bought the OBDEleven and purchase 200 worth of credits..I have a 15 S4 and wanted the Comfort Windows app installed but its not listed but when I look up similar vehicle A5/S5 its listed? What can I do to get the app? By the way works great on inspection reset and oil interval that is very helpful since I do all my maintenance and Audi charges for that service just for a damn reset👍

Has anyone tried this OBDeleven device using an android emulator on PC laptop such as MEMU? I am assuming standard windows laptop BT works for communications.

Can you give a little more details on how the app purchasing works? If I purchase the taillight coding app with credits, am I only allowed to perform that "one-touch coding" a single time? Can I undo that coding with a single touch as well, or do I have to purchase the app again? Thanks Paul!
2017 models have different coding for them. At this time OBDeleven does not have apps released for that model as they require some time to work out the details on what will be required for each of the apps shown on previous models.
Very confused here I thought by purchasing the dongle and software you would be able to modify your vehicle just as you would with the my Carly OBD dongle boy they are really nickel and diming you I would kind of understand if this was free but no you have to pay for it
but his guy is right they make it easier for us to cod, so I agree, I have seen them cod my car, they have to go thru a lot of tabs, very confusing so if this video says one button to cod, this this is for you, very simply to use, no headache no worring bout cofing the wrong line, I would rather get this if I were you.

I'm coming in cold here, wanting to perform checks and minor maintenance on my late model VW, such as renewing battery. So I see this OBDeleven product that will enable you to view the vehicle data details, fault codes, etc. and input data as needed. Now I see it uses a business model like commodity software such as MS Windows, etc. where you pay to buy the product, then need to pay more to use the product you just bought. Big turn off for a newby. Thanks for the explanation, but I will spend my time looking elsewhere first. May come back, who knows, but turned off by this business model.

if that's the case, then first I gotta make sure my daughter didn't blow up her beetle ('99 & previous owner trashed it). I finally sorted the suspension and now CEL is on. definitely an alternative to vagcom.
