This dlc is just borderlands 2. A surprisingly solid villain is on a planet abandoned by a corporation that screwed it over. She attempts to use a mineral to awaken an all powerful monster to cleanse the planet? Very familiar
@@barmitzvahelmo2799 If a Dlc is boring is usually dependant on the player as it's subjective. I found this dlc rather fun with the narrator, it's style and so on.
The steam version for me at least runs smooth as greased lightning. Just make sure not to have the texture streaming at its highest if it aint installed on an SSD and you SHOULD be good to go.
Oboe, you never even found Ol’ Jessups Treasure Maps. You find his map and then you find a chest for loot. They added him specifically for you and you didn’t even notice
Prometheus , well in last of is you murder innocent screaming and begging people but in DOOM you kill demons and stuff they dont question DOOM because the demons are well demons and they have taken over earth and have murdered millions of innocents so it kinda feels good to kill a bunch of demons in DOOM
To both of you and others i know it is cartoony and aslo to demons but you have to admit the violence is pretty over the top but thank you for not being so toxic about it
Probably my favorite of the DLCs so far. I appreciate the more lowkey tone this sets and it's refreshing to not just have old characters shoved in our faces for nostalgia. The story itself is all right, even if it is too similar to BL2's main story in hindsight. Not for everyone for sure but it's a really nice change of pace from the off the wall "Really try and shove comedy down your throat at every turn" stuff we've seen from most of BL3.
Richard Morgan all those rich villains who have someone betray you so they can use their personal space station to bomb a city and try to stop you from getting back after it teleports away by sending an army of robots after you while running a human and animal experimentation project on the side
@@baconbitz7804 pretty much Exploit a relative, check Own a super weapon, check Into experimentation for evil purposes, check Its all pretty basic and has been done lots before
The last boss hit me so hard that it launched me so far up in the sky that I actually surpassed the invisible boundary walls and I got to kill it easily from there.
Imagine if Jakobs had been making lever-action guns since Borderlands 2. In BL1, their shotguns had handguards that made them look levergun-ish, but they were otherwise just like the other pump-actuated revolving shotguns. Btw, there's a real-world grenade launcher that uses a mechanism similar to that. That means the Jackal is real!
i was trying to see which mayhem oboe was on. but then i remeberd from the handsome jackpot playthrough "I'm the only youtuber with the balls to not play on mayhem mode."
gehenna was referenced in the bible as a real place and is now a word that has recently been used to call hell. in the bible it was a place where kings burned babies as sacrifices somewhere in jerusalem.
I really enjoyed this dlc, it’s not my favourite I prefer guns love and tentacles but this ones pretty solid, the final boss maybe just the jack final boss but I really enjoy, and this dlc made me really into bl3 again
@@xnAqua ok well to be fair lets break down the story barney style, rich guy hates vault hunter for no reason( presequel wasnt out yet) tries to kill you fails has alot of hit or miss lines to say as you get to him kills a character whose only real back story comes from bl2 only evil thing he does is exploit his daughter which is has been done often disappionting when you meet him finally and kill him almost instantly but still gets the moster off also and easy fight yea theres some real story right there
Richard Morgan Also ofc Jacks fight was easy. Jack was a coward but that suddenly changes when you kill his daughter, that’s why he even had the courage to go down and kill Roland. He changes just like that
"Only evil thing he does is exploit his daughter." Have you seen some of dialouges he says like the eye scooping scene I would argue it not the only evil thing he does.
im genuinely surprised he praised this dlc for bringing back one of TPS' best things instead of pretending its a completely unique thing its so rare to see people praise TPS for the things it did instead of pretending it was terrible and did nothing good (oh nvm i watched two seconds later and he did exactly the thing i described.. wonderful..)
Why do you lag in sanctuary? I play on a PS4, and it's fine, even if I slide through it at Mach 2. Maybe it's because of your computer or your settings are too high?
This DLC is great when you get into all the side missions. But the main story is pretty short and not too deep, and the Ruiner was easily beatable, even on Level 60 Mayhem 10, using level 57 M10 weapons (Yellowcake FTW!).
