that is going to be a great truck for someone! good starter truck for a young person to start a business or just use as a driver. I would love it if it becomes available. good content, keep at it!
Hey, I just stumbled upon your website and that area of Tennessee that you're talking about. That wouldn't have to be around the tele co Planes Or Turtle Creek Ducktown, copper Creek. Area of tennessee I swear that store looks Familiar I used to work for thompson gas.
That truck cleaned up a lot better than I thought it would. Started right up to. I'd keep it if I were you. Put a bed liner in it, invest a little bit to get it up to par and road worthy and I'd use it as a general work truck, parts hauler or what have you.
It was a great truck, turns out a buddy of mine was kinda down on his luck. His truck blew an engine and he needed a truck for work. So I gave it to him for the price of the tires. So it lives on as a landscaping truck.
You are my favorite and I do have more people coming to your RU-vid channel friends and family and I did describe you did a real good job on it truck I love your show
@@flatbrokegarage my favorite generation. I like them a little better than the brick nose ones which are the eighth generation ones that were built from 1987 through 1991.
@@kevinrichards3288 I agree, if you look through my videos you'll see I own 2 if them. I really want to get the other one on the road. It's a 93 short bed 4X4
@@kevinrichards3288 for sure, they are all over down here in Tennessee. But think about it. They arr almost 30 years old, how many of these new rigs will be able to do that
I have a 1996 f 150 almost 240,000 miles 4.9 300 motor, 5 speed manual. Manual windows. Strong tough truck like a tank. Would you say they're considered collectables already? Or not yet maybe another 5 to 10 years?
Yep! I did it, even took it on hot rod power tour. It broke down, but back up and running. It's my shop truck now. You can see it in some of my new videos. Thanks for watching!
I've actually made it into a "shop truck" and took it on Hot Rod Power Tour where it actually broke down 😆 but it's back up and in my latest video to rescue another treasure I just bought. Thanks for watching!
My dad’s friend has one that has been sitting for about 5-6 years. I plan on asking him to sell it to me but I’m not sure what would be a good price. Could someone help me out? It’s a 1995 I believe
@@flatbrokegarage thanks for the quick reply you’re awesome. I love your channel so much. I am just getting into car restoration 😁 if you could please, what would be some common problems in these model F150s not starting? I know you mentioned ignition switch problem and solenoid
@skulkem5479 if the engine doesn't spin odds are solenoid or bad ground. If it turns over but not starts could be fuel filter, or pump (electric) if that is good work your way to spark. That's some common issues. Hope that helps
The other truck is actually way nicer than o'l yeller. Engine runs but needs freeze plugs, gaskets, and the valve train has a I've never changed the oil clatter. I have plans for o'l yeller next month. Going to run Hot Rod Power Tour I hope.
I love to buy it call you please call me when you get a chance tomorrow I can talk to you about it okay thanks you and God bless you and your family from Bryan Hardin.
