Just like some people on this world understand rocket science and quantum physics, while some people are still stupid enough to not believe in climate change, there are some people with nothing and some people with everything.
Everytime I see a Yacht I ask myself why would someone want that and now after watching your videos I'm asking myself "why not?" Although I'm a 100% land lover I could see why a Yacht does appeal those who have that type of money.
I hate when they do a super futuristic design on the outside , and once you get in it looks more like a luxurious hotel or home. Is a yachts you are not at a hotel or a home it seems boring should be futuristic on the inside to with plenty of stainless steel, platinum white and gray. Not same old boring champagne look.
OceAnco is no cookie cutter builder by any stretch of the imagination. Thank goodness! No cake top brief need apply, regardless of budget. Cutting edge is their motto and it has paid off handsomely, the satisfied owners and top of the line awards every year, repeatedly speaks volumes. Yards like Icon, Lurssen, Kleven, Lloyd Werft, Bremer Vulkan, and the other top builders who dare to explore the edge of envelope and push the boundaries once thought permanent. Thank You David for reports from the Front Line and bring back behind the scenes information that we nautical junkies thrive on. You are providing a must needed fix in a world of bland, recycled stories that are last years or last quarters footnotes. Up to date and relevant. In a nutshell, David, You Rock!
Could you imagine having an Explorer yacht and then during the lunch take like two months off and just travel to see Antarctica or like these one-off places that habitable skiing down a glacier on your helicopter that's the kind of stuff that the lottery commercials to be advertising LOL like to see some people truly get the most out of the short time we got on this planet
I used to work there at Oceanco, what a wonderful place to work!! I worked on 2 yachts there and it was by far a good learning place. Too bad, i don't have the money to build my own yacht lol
God these yachts are beautiful. If I became stinken rich nvm the mansions. I'd buy a yacht with a helicopter on it and have a cargo area for like 1 or 2 cars, couple motorcycles. THAT'S how I'd spend my money, travel the world and live from my boat. 👌
Gives Explorer Yachts a new defination, I would say. I guess a Nordhaven 46 would make a good dingy for the shallow water explorations. As always, a well done video.
I will personally will never own a mega yacht or even a yacht for that matter. But I can appreciate the opportunity to see and enjoy the poor man's experience by watching your channel. You have a unique flow with your words that makes one believe if only for a few seconds that he or she to, might be able to make such a purchase one day. That's why I have subscribed and will follow your channel. Thank You Sir for your willingness to go above and beyond to help share some of the world's most beautiful yachts.
"This is the yacht, for the distinguished aspiring supervillain. For when you need to go to the end of the world to plot the end of the world. Features include a trap door that drops into a shark tank and yoga studio."
That’s awesome, I feel like as time goes on, things start to shift, like back in the day ppl with money bought stuff like this to show off and for fun. But now it’s changing to something to with purpose, or at least some passion behind it. Kinda like how they have Bentley/lambo trucks now. Even tho they’ll probably never get off roaded you have the option for it, as money young ppl who are successful have the drive do more.
I always wanted to restore a ww2 or early Cold war destroyer to turn it into explorer. Seems like they would make extremely robust long distance ships. This is my dream. They seem like a far more attractive alternative to modern yatching formats. maybe one day someone will create something that isn’t a modern monstrosity, and flows along classic lines, looking more like Britannia but designed for the Arctic.
Ok that's my new favorite, how beautiful that yacht is going to be. Those lines are perfection! Hopefully you will get to tour it when it's complete... fingered crossed
it still amazes me how i need to work an equivalent of 43,440 years just to purchase a yacht. and just the annual upkeep alone is asdjasdlkjhahaha money is such an amazing thing. i hope i get an opportunity to "make it" as well.
Best Regards!! 👋. I am loyal subscriber. I want to buy this new yacht 'Esquel' (for Humanitarian Proyect), and i hope to have your help later. Without jokes or games. And wish another yacht new between 100 or 140 meters (for the family). For You, which is the best shipyard of high-end and reliability builders between Oceanco, Lurssen and Feadship ? And in what position would you put them from 1 to 3 ? The purchase of the 2 yachts would be done in a brief time (couple of months more).
These Vessels are wonderful but there’s only one thing here that is not considered. How would you Detail this? How would you get the Bow!? It’s not white so it’s going to need squeegee and drying! It looks very dangerous for Detailing! You Designers have to make it practical for maintenance including the finish! Carry on and God Bless!🖖🏼🇺🇸❤️
I quit at 4mins.! 1/2 mins show pictures and talk speed and fuel and distance. The you tell us you have No deck plans. You can't review a ship you can't see.You suckered us again.
I may be an average working joe who would never be able to afford something like this working ten lifetimes. But my love of the sea and appreciation for quality engineering, design and craftsmanship means I still enjoy watching and perhaps daydreaming a little. What if? But I somehow feel like I'm not missing out on much. What little friends and family I have are scattered and extremely busy. What's the point of having something like this if you don't have anyone to share it with?
I would like to know if the yacht has been stilt already or is it still just a concept design on the flip side of that I would also like to know how much it will cost to have an Explorer yacht such as this built I read somewhere it would cost 11 million is this accurate information if so please inform me if not in for me just the same thank you
Exploration yachts are IT, im baffled why it has taken so long for the yacht builders / designers to grasp that these are for going on adventures, - not sitting in a dock all year. The other thing yacht builders can do with them is design them more for Chartering services with parallel maintenance systems!
the correct pronunciation would be: eskel (the u is silent) idk why it is named after a small, mostly unknown town in the argentine patagonia, but that is how you say it. still like the Black Pearl better. money being no object i'd choose her any day of the week.
I was getting comfortable with the idea of a 100 foot yacht when out of nowhere you post a video of a 300+ footer. Now the 100 seems so inadequate I am going to have to dream bigger. When I buy it I’m going to simply drop anchor just off of Sir Richard Branson's Necker Island & hang out there for a few years.
I am an inventor, I invented the predator drone and many other ideas. I am seeking a vessel to explore in, invent in, and live abroad. If Esquel is for sale. I am a serios inquiry.
Even though owning a yacht is way out of my league I do appreciate the elegance engineering and artistry thats goes into them. From what I understand it takes a small fortune to tip crew from just being a guest on one.
As long you have money ,Income doesn't mean what you do or how you live!people invested in banks top 10 around the world .just relaxing waiting to get that Mega super Yacht ,infact the online building has just begins .

Zeiss www.zeiss.com/corporate/int/home.html or Bushnell www.bushnell.com/ should have nicely polished, marine-grade, deck-mounted binocular systems. Explorer-class yachts should not seem 'finished' without a good set of optics.
I’m noticing that some wealthy are now building military yachts. At least that’s what they are saying. These exploring yacht trend may be something more like a disaster preparation or in other words head to sea.
Must admit, I fell in love with the 'Alfa Nero' some years back. Would sure love to see a complete walk through of that stella yacht. 'Esquel' is some futuristic and quite the ship. Will be watching for more on this Explorer Yacht! Thanks David! Cheers!
