Just received a Atlas 6.5 all I can say is top notch quality product. Drastic reduction in muzzle rise compared to A2 style. With 123gr SST it took just over 10rds to fine tune. They honesty have the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Answered my call right away even gave me a call the next day when it shipped. Can’t wait to give them some more business.
Ok so for someone who is not a machinist what is the size equivalent bit for 1/100000th of an in. What would the numerical value be for that in a store like lowes?

Thank you for the inquiry. The ATLAS is designed to mitigate the recoil on a firearm, which will interfere with the blowback recoil operation of a handgun. It may be possible to remedy the issue by using higher-pressure rounds, by using lighter recoil springs, or a combination of both.
Yes it will work, for instance MCM Firearms uses an unmodified ATLAS 5 on a 7 inch M16. The shorter the barrel the bigger the hole needs to get to keep it flat. Start with it unmodified, it may work great for you. Drill the hole out slightly larger until you like how it feels.
