This series of training videos should have been included in the training section in dcs world!! I love the drinking from a firehose nature of them allowing the videos to be short and to the point (just rewind if you didnt grasp something the first time dummy!) How this series hasn't generated 100x more views shows the lazy nature of most dcs pilots lol. This is absolute gold! Thank you for sharing this content I'm so glad to have finally found it here on youtube
Excellent stuff, loving it. A suggestion. When you explain the vertical 3/9 line we can only see it displayed on the screen for an instant. I think it'd be clearer if you hold it there for a while longer, or even show it in different perspectives. I got what you meant from the explanation but took me a couple of attempts to actually visualize it in the video. Thanks again for doing and sharing this
Just found your BFM series and have been going through them. Awesome info very well laid out. Do you guys have a discord server where you host some 1 on 1 training? Would be awesome to learn in sim with you guys.
Hi Bryan, thanks. We don’t do one on one training, but the Tactical DCS discord has some terrific folks over there mentoring and instructing this sort of stuff. Some of our team have contributed to some of their training material.

This will come in future but it doesn’t really apply to offensive/defensive BFM and is more appropriate to discuss in High Aspect BFM. Once roles are established - ie one ac is defensive and one offensive, a Vertical fight is very likely to collapse into a defensive spiral anyway.
At 4:19, you tell us to go back to the fundamentals video, but this is the first video in the playlist, and it's called the fundamentals video. Is there a different place I'm supposed to start with your tutorials?
