If you have 10 people walk by and you offer them all samples of your delicious kettle corn 4-6 will end up buying. They see you make it, put on a show. Especially when you make it fresh. Making it fresh and offering samples is the difference between a $200 day and a $500-$700 day. Getting yourself out there and saying hi to people and making small talk will also really increase your sales.
When you go to the market and the farmers markets you can easily tell the difference between a great salesman like myself, and someone who doesn't like and or care about their product or job. I love it everyday I do my business and when you are out there hopefully you let yourself shine and show off as well it will eventually pay off. Customer service and offering samples is a huge part of your business or it should be.
