In California (dhar manns studio is in LA or at least cali if I’m not mistaken) a 2-11 is a bank robbery, so “officer” Doyle running in solo is… questionable.

This must be one of the police departments where 99% of the officers were arrested for corruption. That's the only kinda, sorta, not really explanation for getting promoted to Sergeant on day 1.
