Until Giorno, every single Jojos protagonist looked like a damn mirror image of their predecessor. Giorno isn't related to the Joestars tho, and Jolyne is female, then all following is alt universe, so the samey designs ended, but rhe above image is basically correct for the first 4 parts.

When Kira comes in, thats where the peace are threatened. Its not the world or humanity in problem, its your family and friends. It felt more personal in that sense. Not to mention, the opposite can be applied to Kira too. He just wants to live and kill in peace; Josuke and friends threatens his freedom to do so. So the existence of one threatens the others tranquility and this tug of war is whats interesting to see.

(I just got married last year, and I saw this just before that, so seeing him about to have the life he deserved as well with Erina, tarnished by Dio hurt). Also, Wry.
