Highlights of the mountain bike route Brunssummerheide, Limburg (NL). This 18km long MTB route with 300m of ascent runs through the nature reserve Brunssumerheide. The MTB route Brunssummerheide is part of the Parkstad route network, so you can easily combine the route with the MTB route Strijthagen and Rode Beek. Then you can furthermore combine it with the MTB route Heerlen and the NK 2017 course, so that you reach a total of around 75 km. The Brunssummerheide route has quite a lot of variety and lets you mainly ride off-road on winding single trails. The slight elevation differences ensure a few fast descents and a number of features (such as the rock climb and north shore) provide a more technical challenge. The MTB route Brunssummerheide is therefore slightly less suitable for the novice mountain biker.
The MTB route Brunssummerheide is marked well with black-yellow MTB route signs and and the route is well maintained.
