You are lucky with these Hondas. That was the last model (2002 - 2006) with the spare tyre outside the tailgate and the hidden camping table in the trunk. One of the best Honda CRV. They can last for a very long time. They don't have too much electronics like new cars. If the headlight doesn't work, it is cheap to get it done. Keep driving them and enjoy.
I just purchased a Gen2 EX model with 5spd manual trans (very rare in the US), in Silver Moss Metallic. I'm a German car guy, but I really love this car. Fantastic to see you guys out wheeling in them!! Your cars are beautiful!
The cars are already "old", but I really like them. Still such an offroad classic, although it's not offroad. It can handle a lot in the off-road, but mainly it is great for traveling and Overlanding. It's just a shame about the not-so-smooth chassis, where the tank and exhaust stick out.
@@Xfantasycz I agree. I have no idea what they were thinking, hanging the fuel tank down like that, in just a box form. It should have been below the green table, in the trunk. The exhaust location is not only poorly done, it has made them a life-time target for Catalytic Converter theft.
