Offshore Fishing Tampa Bay for Permit Fish

Dang! I grew up there and never caught a yellowtail or a permit. I just saw video of hogfish up there, too. Time for a trip home!

hey capt blair wiggins!!! your my idol man. if you come back to the tampabay area someday, let me know id love to take you out fishing on my boat!! in mid march - july there is a pass called ana maria island. with only a fraction of boats vs B.G. and theres more fish than boats. its awsome for tarpon. theres also alot of grouper and mackerel too. if you can get past the macks and groupers, you can get the poons. its a wonderful problem to have!!! also, full moon outgoing tide = eggmont key

@flashhassen We don't keep all of our fish. Some get released so you can go fishing with the guide and catch them.
