When my brother was a deputy he convinced the Sherriff to get them a couple Hellcat Chargers because of all the street bikes they had getting away. It's crazy how much faster they are than regular police chargers he said when chasing bikes they would get up to over 180.

Well, I was just finishing a Bloody Mary when I started this video, so I made another one just to watch this one, thanks for the advice. My old 67 Satellite with a stock 426 Hemi and a 4/speed with 3.54 gears would turn, "easily" 7000 rpm in fourth which is 170 mph would outrun these slow patrol cars, if it would have had O/D it would have been much faster as it wasn't even trying at 170 as in it would winded as tight in fourth as it would in first. Love your happy face and attitude wish more people were as pleasant as you are. Keep the videos coming please. Sad that so many of these chases end in tragedy because so many young people are involved in drugs and other crimes, what a waste of humanity. Breaks my heart.

It was over Because the Trooper simply wasn't trying... their Hemi chargers will run 151.. he was 100% not trying...even their V6 cars will run 130 & will get there quite easily..... The 2nd trooper was in a F9rd Explorer... they're also Slow & better suited to city patrols... they struggle in triple digit speeds. There's many ASP that have hunted down Hellcats that were faster... just because they have higher top speeds, they usually can't handle the curves @ those speeds.. *Most* of the experienced Troopers can out drive the average driver in the corners.... This was 85% just a trooper that didn't try...

Chargers and Challengers could handle turns if you set the suspensions up for it. Get a decent set of coilovers, lower it, stiffen the dampening and get thicker sway bars. That's all you need to do. Upgrade that supercharger to the 3.8, bigger heat exchanger and expansion tank. The car would be a nightmare. But most Charger and Challenger owners just want to do takeover sliding.
