For almost 30 years now in my house we've been saying, "Hombre?" in that raspy voice anytime we offer something to each other.

"Ross has a habit of that, of saying things at the wrong time" Buddy, like you wouldn't BELIEVE.

As a mother and former midwife, I can tell you that tasting breastmilk is far more common than not tasting it when a mom is nursing. And of course Susan had tasted it, she "sleeps" with Carol! It comes with the territory with a nursing mom. I _love_ how _Friends_ handled this issue! It was funny and perfectly done.

The fact that Phoebe didn’t even question Monica when she THOUGHT Monica said she wanted her hair like Dudley Moore 😂

You put the milk on your wrist and taste it to check the temperature before feeding the baby.

Fun fact: The Q-tip line, which is Matthew Perry's favourite Chandler line, was improvised. Also, Lauren Tom who played Julie, pitched the joke where Rachel says "Welcome to our country!" slowly and loudly, and Julie replies "Thank you, I'm from New York!" This was based on Tom's own experience where people would approach her and react in a similar manner, believing she was a Chinese immigrant. In both episodes, notice the 'reserved' sign at the table where they always sit at Central Perk? It's the first time but not the last time it is seen. People have been wondering how the couch was always conveniently available for them and someone noticed the sign in various scenes throughout the series. If you don't know, the reason Phoebe tasted the breast milk is because people usually do that to make sure it isn't too hot for the baby. And I'm not saying you think that but I do find it hilarious how people have such a problem with drinking human milk but have no problem with drinking milk meant for calves. Or breastfeeding in general for that matter. Lastly, I couldn't tell if you realised that Rachel purposely lied to Phoebe about who Andie MacDowell is to sabotage Julie.

21:19 A conversation that mirrors another situation is something _Friends_ does really well, especially early on. The haircut / hospital bit (9:47) and the shopping / cheating conversation. Plus the saloon scene in 23:07. So good!

In the original DVD release... Joey - "When the doctor does that hernia test,..." Chandler - "That's ok. When your mechanic does it,..." *wildly shakes his head 'no'*

Nothing wrong with breast milk at all. It's funny how people freak out when they see others tasting milk from our own species but can gather in droves and watch people drinking milk from other animals without a problem. That whole cowboy scene with Joey has always been funny, especially Chandler's "Miss Kitty" line.

The writing in season 2 was generally very good. It’s definitely among the best seasons. Great to re-experience this show with you. Thanks for sharing with us!

Okay, I'm a parent of three (now adult) children. The whole breast milk on the wrist to check the temperature is completely normal, and licking it from the wrist afterwards is mundane. (If the taste is off, maybe it has soured from improper storage and would upset the baby's tummy.) Not really sure why everyone is so freaked out by this. And Susan having tasted directly from the source? You think Ross wouldn't have done the same if he and Carol were still a couple? These characters are in their later 20s. This should not be "weird".

Poor Rachel. Ross never knows when to stay quiet, she would have just confessed to him. But it's hilarious how the Monica/Rachel thing is treated as if Monica cheated on Rachal. 😂

Not that I'm complaining but man, you couldn't wait a few days to watch the next season (more precisely you couldn't wait to share with us) hahahaha

Idk when people became this prude and narrow minded about this. Tasting breastmilk is normal and happens in many cultures. It was actually celebrated in many cultures in the history, and even now in some places. It doesn't need to be made weird or thought of as sexual (although many people do it that way too and it's their choice. Let's not kink shame). Anyaway, it's so common and natural, let's not make a big deal out of it. Enjoyed the reaction as always

Yeahhhh, love your Friends reactions. I feel Rachel. I react the same, when the guy whom I adore talks about his girlfriend (who, by the way, is my former classmate...which I only discovered last year). However, I would never say anything, because it's bad karma. :D

this is the first time I notice this, but in episode 1, Rachel was wearing a zebra striped band aid because it is more fashionable than a regular band aid. 4:28

Oaky it blew my mind when I stared watching the old,...I mean old series of the "Facts of Life" when I saw the "Julie" actress on it. Lauren Tom - I knew it was her right way although it was what 13 years earlier I knew it, also that was her first acting job....Facts of Life.

There's gonna be a lot of ups and downs, don't worry, it usually bounces back again to the fun and games 🙂 The writing is awesome and they seemed to have a lot of fun

I know Rachel was pretty hurt and sad about Ross I get that, but I found pretty bad of her inviting the same bad guy who harresed her best friend to her home again, like I know she was hurt and sad but u don't invite the person who did u friend dirty again to ur home with your friend at your home

Rachel didn't love/like Ross when she didn't know that Ross loves her. She immediately changed (running after him to the airport, etc.) when she knew. I really didn't understand that in this show.

I disagree they’re being immature. 3 times in my life I’ve had a woman pop a boob out next to me and it’s the most natural thing in the world. Men move away purely if they did what Chandler did and caught a glimpse. Which is exactly what happens every time because, quite rightly, it just happens. You feel awful. And how can you apologise without looking someone in the eye. Fair enough it could be handled better but it’s out of respect we feel guilty. Nothing more.

Really don't like that last comment from Rachel. Julie was being really sweet and genuine.
