Right now, Ohio voters are deciding whether to legalize recreational marijuana. Some dispensaries in Michigan say it’s a bit hazy how business will be impacted if Ohioans approve the initiative.
I've never tried it, but I understand that cocaine is a highly processed extract of coca leaves. It's much different from chewing on a bunch of coca leaves. Have you ever heard of a coca leaf addict? I'm sure there have been many, But, clearly it's not the same as cocaine. "Let your medicine be your food, and your food be your medicine."@@011keepers
Time for thugs republicans in Indiana to be arrested for denying human rights, banning the rights for cannabis users to work to provide food for their table, and denied and denied a home with pee in a cup cocaine supporting Biden hate laws
All of the states including Indiana will eventually legalize it. I imagine that Indiana will legalize it within the next 8 years now that it's surrounded my legal states. The boomers are getting old so they won't be in office for very much longer.
The Indiana people can vote on it the same way that ohio did if it's something they truly want. In 2015 it failed in ohio and now in 2023 is won by a landslide so don't count Indiana out quite yet because things are changing at a rapid pace. Ohio citizens got sick and tired of watching their loved ones get in trouble over a harmless plant. Ohio citizens got tired of corrupt politicians telling them what to do.
It’s about time. I have my medical card and so far I’m already miles happier than when I had to get it off the street. The days of waiting on half assed “dealers” to get home from work and finish their supper is over. No more worrying about if they’re dry and then stuck not being able to find it. FINALLY.
Yeah I'm so happy that people no longer have to deal with horrible drug dealers. A lot of marijuana dealers are horrible people that will use and take advantage of you. Most of them live off of welfare so now they'll have to get a real job which is a good thing. I would much rather see hard working people making money off of it. Now people can buy a high quality safe product or even grow their own.
The sad part is that employers are still going to drug test for it 😒. Most people aren't going to be able to use it working a regular job until it changes at the federal level. If the federal government legalized it or changed the scheduling people wouldn't lose their job if they had a prescription.
@@Shenmue06 More and more places are not testing. A very good factory job here in my town no longer tests for weed, it does suck there are no legal protections, and find it ridiculous you can be fired for something just being in your system (no proof of intoxication since weed can be in your system for 30 days and sometimes more). It seems incredibly unfair that we are subject to termination or the burden of not being hired simply because nature keeps this in our system for long periods of time, it’s completely out of our control and if they have to test for weed they need to come up with better testing techniques to prove intoxication at the workplace, otherwise it needs to be done away with altogether.
@@Truth_Seeker96 they just need to stop testing for it. I can understand testing pilots and crane operator's but not regular people with regular job's.
@Thomas-eo5zh I've now seen the date is set August 2024 for people to buy. But yes legally you can have it in 30 days like in your house or whatever and possibly the grow your plants thing
Marijuana needs to be legalized federally because if I want to go riding over to my friend's house in the state next door I should be able to take my damn marijuana with me or buy some there. If it's legal it's legal and they're going to try to stop us from buying it across the state line or from taking it across the straight line or from smoking it or a friend's house even if it is recreationally legal. These old f**** can't stand to see anybody have fun unless they got their hands in our pockets.
It just blows my mind how States like Kentucky,Indiana and Tennessee absolutely refuse to legalize marijuana for not only medical purposes but recreational as well. It’s a natural herb folks! It’s safer than that beer you drink when you get off work, the pills you take for pain, the unhealthy food in your diet! There are so many medical municipal purposes in which Marijuana helps the general user. It’s time we start looking at the benefits of marijuana and stop putting it next to illicit drugs that are the real harmful drugs. Marijuana was attached to a bad image from the 1980’s Ronald Reagan,”just say no” to drugs slogan, and in reality it really isn’t a bad drug.
Those states have extremely old school beliefs. I think it'll eventually be legalized in those states but it's going to be a decade from now unless it becomes legalized at the federal level. I figured Tennessee would at least have it medically because they love to party and it's a popular vacation spot.
@@Shenmue06 I agree. Marijuana should be legal at a federal level. It should be taxed and regulated by each State, with money from tax revenues going to infrastructure, education, law enforcement and rehabilitation programs for Americans who struggle with mental illnesses and addiction. There is so many benefits from legalizing marijuana,to helping the States with revenue and also helping users who suffer with medical conditions.
@@Shenmue06 Tennessee's opened up to the Cannabis industry to a degree. The little town I live in has 2 dispensaries with Delta 9 products. Many places sell tinctures but they're THC-free. I can see marijuana legalization in the near future. Now if they could get a handle on the meth problems.
Definitely not gonna miss that 3 hr drive to Detroit, people in Toledo are very close but Cleveland is a hike , cannot wait until the stores close here!
I live all the way down in Cincinnati and my younger brother smokes. He has been making trips to Michigan once a month for a while now. He will be relieved to not have to male that drive anymore lol.
Never surrender!? He did surrender and then got his picture taken. He's a loser who lost legitimately lost to Biden. Biden of all people the guy who has no idea of what's going on.
When December 7th rolls around watch all the gray market businesses pop up. Yall remember how MI was before rec stores were available? It was, "buy this book or piece of art for $50-80 and get a free *ahem* GIFT".
i get the idea people will come to michigan for a while still. when dispenseries opened here, everything was very expensive in comparison to how it is now. take about a year for implementation and then another few years for prices to come down. It doesnt happen overnight. ohio isnt just going to open 20 stores in every city the day its officially acceptable to do so. There are still a lot of cities in michigan that do not have dispenseries. The cities vote i believe on whether or not they have dispenseries. and you would be surprised that while it is legal now, not every city will vote to allow dispenseries there.
I read the news today, oh boy. The land of the free finally freed the weed. And though the news was rather glad I just had to laugh. There was a photograph. Crystals sparkled on the buds. We all noticed that the light was fair. A crowd of people came to share. We'd seen it all before, as none of us had a chance to ever be on the list of Forbes.
Watch over half of the dispensaries "Just over the state line" get closed lol you legit see welcome ohio signs for weed going to and back from Michigan
The ohio market is gonna be expensive as first so Michigan shouldn't have much to worry about also the regulations the ohio gop are gonna try and pass after the fact so i think nothing much will change until recreational is here for a few years
