Copyright by Capcom, 2006 This is the music the play in the beginning, which recaps the first fight with Orochi, with Nagi and Amaterasu. It also plays when you get to the Spirit Gate inside of Inner Yoshpet.
Once upon a time, in a faraway land... There was a tiny village by the name of Kamiki. Legend tells of a horrible beast that threatened the residents. It also tells of the wolf that risked it all to protect them. I love this game so much. Amaterasu for Smash Ultimate.
Okami is extremely underrated. One of the best PS2 games, or even any console, games there is. The studio which produced it shut down, probably due to poor sales.. leaving no hope for the game industry.. I used to love this game so much.
+- Navi - no hope? haven't you played Journey? and for that matter have you seen the advertisement for No Mans Sky? sure you can say neither of these games hold a candle to okami but saying there's no hope for the game industry is a bit of a stretch.
***** notice how long ago I made that comment? also just because Hello Games shot themselves in the foot doesn't mean other developers will. For lack of a better metaphor Hello Games dropped the torch and its up to the rest of the development community to pick it up.
Fact it’s actually still for sale at GameStop, so if you want it go buy it there, it’s I think about 15 dollars? And I think I may have taken the last one by accident if I did sorry X3
I only played Okami for the first time a few days ago, but only for 2 hours. I must say: It was a magical experience. I don't know what else to say, other than I enjoyed my time dearly. Definitely gonna play it again some more. :D
That is sad. I had I dog I grew up with, who died several years ago (maybe 3-4). He was an American Staffordshire Terrier. And the music in Okami is very emotional. I cried several times in each game I played.
Ahhh yes the freakishingly long intro. Still love it though! The music fits well with the story and the setting. Not to mention it's quite relaxing to listen to.
A game worth replaying, hits you with all sorts of information at the beginning but you don't truly appreciate it until later in the game when you become more attached to it. I was pretty young when I first played so all the reading was a little shocking but it also makes it that more endearing and rich in story that it really holds a place in my heart. A magnificent masterpiece to say the least~
I'm not crying, exactly... but this music is wonderful. The reverse-sounds really lend to the sense of strange and sad beauty. Never played Okami, but that doesn't matter.
creepy? That's not a word I would use to describe this song... nor suspicious..... nor cheerful.... But it truly is mysterious... and at the same time... legendary in the sense it explains the roots of a legend. It's also legendary in the sense that it's really good! Hahaha.... I didn't intend that!
I have always been fascinated by Japanese art and folklore (There’s much more to them than just anime, sushi and ninjas) I haven’t played the game but I’m certainly adding t to my wishlist.
Nunca creí que un juego con una estética tan caricaturesca me emocionara tanto. Consejo para la gente que nunca probo un juego así les recomiendo que lo jueguen, es una hermosa experiencia que durar para siempre no lo duden :).
I thought you were killed...? Um, anyway... don't go helping Dark lords shroud the world in evil and stuff again, alright? Locally maybe, corrupt a plain or something, it's okay... but don't draw attention (haha "draw") by fighting off the gods all over Nippon!
