Okkervil River - Dance Hall Days (Bing Lounge) 

I thought it was a tat slow to start off but it won me over. Very nice indeed! Took me back 30 yrs.

When I went hunting for interesting covers of Dance Hall Days, I didn’t expect this masterpiece. I associate Okkervil River with intense, introspective ensemble pieces, and did they ever bring that unexpected - but absolutely appropriate - energy to what has just become one of my favorite covers. Incomparable.
