Walter, Rance here....I bought one from your video works good.... it must have direct sunlight. I keep a bucket of water near bird bath it will spray out of the bird bath.
Thank you for your video! My son gave me one for Christmas and I love it! For days I couldn’t figure out how to use the suction cups and the string! But, like yours mine kept floating around the birdbath spilling water out onto the ground. I just opened the manual to the pump and saw that you are supposed to use the suction cups and the string to attach to the sprinkler bottom to keep it stabilized. Also, on the very top of the sprinkler there is a spray adjustment. Low medium and high! Hope this will help everyone! It’s a great little pump. I would like to get more! I would highly recommend this!
Some folks put rocks around the fountain to stop it moving around.I have one and cleaning the filter is a pain as there is virtually no way to get access to it easily.
The pump won't turn on unless there is water. Yes sunlight but that just powers the battery water activates the pump. It turns off if the wind blows the water out or if it evaporates. At least the ones that I got do.
@@pwalpar yes I love it.& the fishing line is to feed thru into the suction cups to put on the side of the pot. Lucky for me it was plastic & stayed in place..
Actually in the photos it’s not sitting directly on the bottom of the birdbath. It needs to be floating and water underneath, the way I understand. I will soon find out once I connect my string and suction cups to the fountain. I hope the suction cups work.
