Thank you all so much for the love and support on this video, it really means a lot! 🥺 I've also filmed a video testing the Olaplex No.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask, so please feel free to have a watch of that one too! ❤️
It looks beautiful!! Yay now I’m excited to try it myself! Found this vid cuz I just bought it and was wondering what a real person who wasn’t sponsored about the product thought! Love the vid!! 💕💕
My hair is in desperate need of treatment after all the bleaching and dying! Thank you for this review, your hair looks like liquid gold after using it. I'm going to buy a bottle now!
@@RosieEvaMillard it was delivered today! I put it on for nearly an hour like you then washed and conditioned my hair. It feels softer but still looks dry and fly away on the ends, I think I will see a difference after using it for a while a couple of days a week. I'll have to post a monthly update!
@@limboishere It definitely takes time. I've used it at least once a week for a month now. My hair is still breaking and falling out as much as before but it looks and feels healthier, the dullness and flatness has gone. My hair is so damaged I'm just trying to grow new hair, but it looks much better.
I've really stuggled finding when or how to apply this, thankyou for such an informative video! Your info about dry shampoo and combing through made so much sense.
Omg you're hair soo pretty both before and after 😍 But watching your video I think this might be worth the price tag now and will put it on my wish list
Hi Alisa, can you share your feedback did it really worth it, after how many uses you saw significant difference. Please do share as my hair are also extremely dry and dames due to hair coloring and dull too. Want to try olaplex but want an honest review
@@saraehtasham718 Sara, it works well overall, makes the hair feel softer and smoother. It didn’t work for me because it requires a commitment in terms of timing: to wet the hair, apply product and leave for some time before shower. Usually I don’t have that much time, I prefer something that can be applied in the shower. That’s why I wasn’t able to see full results, I used it only when I had some extra time. Olaplex came out with a hair mask, so I am thinking this will be more up my alley. I hope my feedback helps.
@@RosieEvaMillard once the product dries it stops working, your supposed to keep it moist by wrapping the hair up coz you want it to work as long as possible
Thanks a ton Rose! Your hair is the prettiest natural hair I ever seen :) Please can you update other products you use on your hair (especially the detangling spray) will be super helpful. Thanks!
Thank you so much, that means a lot! 🥰 I currently use the Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance, which is a leave-in conditioning spray that helps with detangling. I've also used (and loved) the Osmo Wonder 10, which I'd highly recommend! Also, I currently use the Pantene Repair & Protect Hair Oil after washing my hair. I hope this helps! ❤️
@@RosieEvaMillard Wow thanks for replying, my hair is very much damaged and tangled, this is really helpful to me...I will try all of these and will post an update soon:-)
After reading so many positive reviews about Olaplex & the amazing wonders it does to damaged & colour-treated hair, I've finally decided I'm going to give it a go.
@@RosieEvaMillard Today I'm using the No 3 Hair Perfector for the very first time. I'm leaving it in for 30 minutes, so hopefully a miracle will occur with my very frizzy new-growth fringe as it's driving me mad every time I put my hair up in a ponytail. Then I'm following up with the No 4 & No 5 which I'm hoping will make my locks easy to comb through & manage, whilst giving a bit more body, strength & shine, something that my previous shampoo, conditioner & leave-in treatments failed to do.
You need an affiliate link because I’m sold. Your hair was amazing before, but You can definitely see a difference. Thank you for this informative video 😌
Ive literally had the no3 in my hair for 40 mins now watching this. Im gonna wash it now with the shampoo and conditioner too! Eeek your hair looks so glossy!
You have just convinced me to buy some, I wasn’t sure but looking at your hair afterwards it’s like glass it’s so shiny 😍 my hair is the exact same length as yours. My daughter gets married in 2 wks and I want my hair at its best, how often would you recommend using it beforehand? Also I love your lipstick 😍 can you remember what make and colour it is lovely? 😊
Thank you so much for watching and for your lovely comment! 🥰 I use this around once a week, but if your hair is a bit more damaged, then I'd recommend using it 2-3 times a week and see how you get on with it. I hope you have a fabulous time too! 😍 I'm also wearing the Illamasqua lipstick in the shade 'Bang' - I love it! ❤️
@@RosieEvaMillard thanks for replying lovely 😊 I tried it today for the first time and I’m super impressed with how bouncy and soft it feels 😍 and thanks for advice and sharing your lipstick shade it’s gorgeous 🌸🌸
I'm a guy and I have a very short hair, I believe one bottle of 100 ML would last months for me. By the way, an excellent demonstration. I appreciate it.
That is true, but I can definitely see (and feel) a difference after I've used Olaplex. It also helps after I've had my hair bleached when I have my balayage done. ☺️
Hiya, I personally use the L'Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths shampoo and conditioner, but sometimes I'll use the Aussie Mega range too! ☺️ Olaplex do also sell their No.4 Bond Maintenance shampoo if you wanted to stick with Olaplex, but I've never tried it. ☺️
girl you are so cute and your video was helpful BUT your hair was in its best shape to begin with :(( i need to see this on someone with platinium and damaged hair
Thank you, I do appreciate your comment! I thought I'd test it in a video as it was a product recommended to me by my new hairdresser, after the balayage/bleach treatment went wrong with a different salon previously. I do appreciate that my hair wasn't in the worst condition to begin with, and I hope you'll be able to find a similar video for what you're looking for! ❤️❤️
Hi, so on the day of the use, do I have to wash with shampoo and conditioner first then apply, wait, the shampoo and conditioner again? So hair washed twice in one day??
Hiya! You don't have to wash your hair first, unless you have product build-up in your hair, like I did - like dry shampoo, hairspray, etc! If your hair is dirty or has product build-up, I'd recommend washing it first with a clarifying shampoo, but don't use a conditioner. Then, apply the Olaplex to damp hair, let it sit for as long as you want to leave it on for, then wash it out with shampoo and conditioner as normal. I hope this helps! ☺️
L’Oréal professional gold quinoa makes my (dry and heat damaged) hair look healthy and really smooth!! I recommend that one 🥰 and I’ve tried quite a few shampoos
Ok so the way I use it I just leave it on… like a leave in conditioner, after I’ve washed my hair. Has anyone tried this? Because I don’t know if I’m potentially causing damage 😅 but my hair does feel amazing once it’s dry
I haven't tried it that way, but I can't imagine it'll cause damage.. you can leave it on overnight, so I think it would be okay! As long as your hair feels amazing afterwards, then it should be fine! 🥰
I only washed it with a clarifying shampoo before as I had some dry shampoo in my hair, and I didn't want it to affect the results. You then need to shampoo and condition your hair after anyway, as it's not a conditioning/leave-in treatment, and it needs to be rinsed out thoroughly! I hope this helps. ☺️
Not at all! You may see better results if you do use the shampoo and conditioner as well, but I only use the No.3 at home, and still get lovely results. I hope this helps! ☺️
I just use my usual shampoo and conditioner with the Olaplex and it works just fine. They do have their own, which I haven't tried, but maybe buy something suitable for your hair type and try the Olaplex alongside it! 😊
Used this for the second time today. My hair is so frizzy after and almost feels more brittle at the ends 😣 i’m the only one who isnt having a good experience with it! I dont know why 🙁
Oh no, that's not good! Did you buy it through a reputable source? (There are a few fakes around! ☹️) maybe try leaving it on for a bit longer, and see if that helps? I hope you have a better experience with it!
@@RosieEvaMillard i bought it from Beauty Bay i believe! Maybe Cult Beauty 🤔 but still both reputable beauty suppliers! I left it on for 45 minutes as well ☹️
Oh mine is exactly the same! I find that keeping my hair off my face can help, so I put my hair up a lot and try not to touch it too much. I also use Batiste dry shampoo between washes too! ☺️
I was doing work experience at a salon and I learned that if you train your hair to go a week without washing it will adapt and become less greasy because the natural oil build up isn’t working as hard to repair itself, leaving your hair looking greasy if you wash your hair every day or every other day. It’s like hair rehab becuase ur hair is addicted to constantly being stripped and rebuilding the good oils. Also something about water being a different PH level so it also damages hair so wear a shower cap! Goodluck, I’m in the process of retraining hair and it’s difficult habit to break!
I wouldn't say it makes it feel thicker as such, but it does feel a lot healthier which I guess can make it feel a bit thicker, but that would depend on your hair type. I really love how this makes my hair feel after using it, and thank you! 🥰
@@vickilouise984 hmm they are a trusted site.. does the bottle have a QR code on the back, at the bottom? According to the Olaplex website, their genuine products all have a QR code on them! ☺️ x
Omg please don't brush your hair wet like that ahhhh! It is really damaging! Detangle it gently before you shower and then either with your fingers or a wide tooth comb detagle it when your conditioner is on! Brushing it like that will create a lot of damage and although olaplex can repair damaged hair it can't replace the length of hair that has been broken by rough styling!
Thank you for your comment! I've actually brushed my hair this way for as long as I can remember, and it's never damaged my hair (so far!), but thanks for your advice. I always brush my hair before I shower, but I haven't tried brushing it with conditioner on, so I'll give that a try next time! ☺️
That's correct! The bottle says to use it on damp, towel-dried hair, and then you'd shampoo and condition as normal when you wash it out. The only reason I used a small amount of clarifying shampoo before I used the Olaplex was to remove product build-up, as I had some dry shampoo in my roots. It didn't make a huge difference to the result, but if your hair is product-free to begin with, then you can just go straight in with the Olaplex! ☺️
I did include timestamps so you could easily click through and watch the relevant parts, if you didn't want to watch it all. I'm happy with how I created this video, but thanks for your comment!
